what a delightful television show

We just finished it. We were really surprised how much they got out of this simple premise. And such great acting. Also I love the looks Nadia always gives for his ratings

Yes! Excellent show. Part of me thinks the story is 100% satisfyingly wrapped up at the end of Episode 9. Episode 10 didn’t quite jump the shark - it was good seeing the two mains share the whole episode and work through their beef and it was well-written enough - but it definitely seemed like the creatives made the conscious decision to “end on a positive note” so to say.

Certainly one of the best shows of 2023 so far. Ali and Steven gave fantastic performances. Funnily enough, they previously voiced a happy bird couple in "Tuca and Bertie." Amy and Danny are anything BUT civil to each other.

I definitely see the EEAAO comparison. The ending gave me a very similar vibe, especially during that conversation when they were laying by the tree. - There's really nothing after this. - We should have done this more often. - What a waste. - At least we did it once. - Yeah. - This is nice. The universe may not have any meaning, maybe this is all there is, but at least they have the one person that gives them meaning in all the chaos and noise. When their voices become one it becomes apparent that it doesn't really matter who is saying what, because in forgiving the other person they're really forgiving themselves. Reminds me of that final conversation at the end of Everything Everywhere All At Once, especially this: - Here, all we get are a few specks of time where any of this actually makes any sense. - Then I will cherish these few specks of time.

I started this show after seeing this video recommended and so far am loving it.

Beef was one of the best shows of the year so far. Only other show I enjoyed more was Swarm on Prime.

great sentiments. yeah eeaao was all over the place, a little too much wacky for me to really connect with the story emotionally, and also while i know it’s supposed to be an homage, really just felt like a weird mix of ripping off the matrix, hitchhikers guide, and rick and morty beef on the other hand, while it got pretty wild in episode 9, the important character growth moments happen much more organically and honestly flawlessly done
