Dosn't work. Ultimate Mod Manager just loads infinitely. Went to sleep, got up, 5 hours later, it was still "launching"

Yuzu doesnt ever boot the mod manager for me. I just get stuck on a never ending loop of the 'launching' screen. Is it too outdated for the latest version of Yuzu?

I need help. When I try to dump to SCMC I am prompted to choose what to dump. either "base" or the DLCs. Do I really have to dump each of the DLC files individually? If I wanted to mod Steve, for example.

Is it possible to use UMM to run Ultimate S, or is it only able to be played with Acropolis? UMM downloads the files fine, but then says that many file routes "don't exist," and when pressing the button to run Smash, nothing happens. If I could use Acropolis, I would try to, but my Switch can't be modded and trying to run vanilla Smash just crashes Ryujinx.

These guides have been great! Just curious if there's anyway to run acropolis with yuzu or is that a switch exclusive. can't find any good guides and a lot of the mods coming out nowadays are too big for UMM.

@@NeedelsMods Quyestion, My Smash Brothers keeps getting stuck on the vs screen sitting at 60FPS. Is there a fix for that, or whats actually happening? I have turned off multithreading and vulcan, and still nothing. Just sits there at 60 FPS right at the character vs screen, this and Mario cart are the only games that do this. I have tried everything from reinstall, reboot, reinstall, played with cpu and graphic settings still stays the same.

Thanks so much for this tutorial! But i dont really now if you said it allready but how do i controll wich mods are active when i play and wich not? And i wanted to ask: When i try to install the mods in the mod manager it says that it doesnt find the mods and i should check its path, but they are in the right mods folder. Can you help me with that?

I placed the Ultimate Mod Manager in the same folder as Smash Ultimate, it shows up on Yuzu, but it doesn't launch at all. I get the looping launch screen. What did I do wrong? Also, the Ultimate Mod Manager folder isn't in yuzu > sdmc

whenever i click Dump RomFS to SDMC a window pops up that asks me where i want to dump it to and it gives me a dropdown with "Base" and then "DLC" options from 1 to 136, and then if i click one itll ask if i want to dump the Full or Skeleton. What does that any of that even mean and what do i click?

I’ve had a error where the data arc isn’t compatible with my game version. I’ve redumped the game multiple times, and the error stays. Also umm launches in the data arc dumper instead of the mod installer. Since this issue started, I’ve tried redoing the instructions in this video, and that’s been happening. Didn’t fix it either btw

I have this exact same question. When told to dump, yuzu shows a pop-up asking what it should dump, "Base" or... Every single "DLC" unit I have, which amount to 136. I have no clue which one is which for the fighters I want to mod.

For some reason UMM just doesn't start. I boot it up and it's just a black or white screen. EDIT: Nevermind, seems that either using Vulkan instead of OpenGL or yuzu trying to stretch it to 21:9 was the problem.

Sometimes UMM, or Homebrew apps in general, are very buggy when it comes to read/write data. Another solution if that happen is to redump a fresh data.arc or copy your data.arc (if you already dumped it and not mod it). I'm sorry that I took down Yuzu Smash Ultimate written guide tutorial. But it seems that people still did not understand all the errors I gathered and the flaw that the emulator have. So it's better off mod Smash Ultimate on Ryujinx than keep doing the outdated method.
