Omg, AB, I have been making this for years. It came in handy for a quick meal and also when money was low. I also add chopped onions and bell pepper for more flavor! Was enough for the whole family with leftovers! Good one!😀
I was born and raised in Guam! And spam is everywhere, even at Denny's! I have my version of spam fried rice. I'm going to try yours! I just made a spam and potato quiche this last weekend! Delish!
Perfect timing for this economy! I've seen this dish on commercials for Spam, but you show us exactly how to create this dish. I'm 70 yrs old and we had Spam at least once a week when I was younger. What a great meal that is Brother...Thank you!!
I started following you last year and I’m speechless rn! I’m Chamorro and been living stateside since 91 and my family has always made this till this day and I’m almost 40. This is a delicacy where I come from. So glad for the shout out to my culture and for you representing us right!!! Looks great!
Looks good!! Thanks for sharing. With four children, we ate a lot of fried Spam and Treet sandwiches. Goes really good with fried eggs and toast, also. So good. 😋 yummy! Gonna try this for sure. Blessings
I haven't had Spam in years (at least 35+ years)! We used to fry it up and slap it on some white bread (I don't eat white bread now though). You bringing back that struggle meal and making it look delicious 😋!
I actually started making spam fried rice during the pandemic... it's now one of my fav go to meals. I always use Lite Spam but I might try some of these other flavors
Yum 😋. I’ve seen other videos and Spam is a staple in Hawaiian cooking. Never knew about the teriyaki flavor. I’ve definitely got to try this one AB ✌🏽
Ok. You made my mouth water. I love spam. I'm definitely making this. Every recipe of yours that I have made I have enjoyed. So glad I am subscribed. Btw, Macdonald's serves egg, spam, and rice in Hawaii. Yum.
At first I was like - I'll be d*mned if I eat Spam fried rice.....then I was like, I'm pretty sure the meat in some of the fried rice I've eaten was probably😺🐶🐭
Spam is flavor in a can. Breakfast, lunch or dinner...in a sandwich, rice, pasta, soup, EVERYTHING! The one I like to use is the "Spam LITE". Less salt and calories.
AB before your time I spent 15 months in Korea (1961 - 1962) All we had was original SPAM for 10 cents a can. Buddy and I would go to local village and have fried rice. Little old lady would take the SPAM and cut it into well over 100 pieces for the rice. She had the biggest cast iron skillet I ever saw, about 20 inches. She would get the rice ready in her giant Wok and scramble her eggs in the cast iron skillet. All she did was work the skillet till egg covered the bottom completely and dump on top of the fried rice. I have never tried your rice but I will go ahead and say her rice was the best I ever had. Maybe it was the unknown veggies that she threw into it as it was hot and spicy and out of this world. Hell maybe it was the tiny pieces of Spam, I don't know. The poorest people you know in America are richer than the average Korean Family in 1961
Aye AB, I live on Big island, Hawaii and you can get spam musubi at the McDonald's or rice, eggs and spam as a breakfast platter. Thanks for all the recipes (the kids lovin' me rn)! Much love from big island 🤙🏾
Shout out to AB from Guam! Spam aka Chamorro Steak! That’s correct. McDonald Local Deluxe is Rice, scrambled eggs, Portuguese Sausage and Spam. As usual this dish is 🔥. Huge fan of the channel.
Come on AB! Look 🔥. But where the onion, green onion, green pepper, bean sprouts. When you make special fried rice, I better see those ingredients in there too
I'm not sure about the other Asian countries but in the Philippines they call spam " canned ham". You'd love the Philippines, it's a smorgasbord of food culture. They cook like other Asian countries but also use spices like Mexico because Spain had control of them for a while. They also fry foods like we do because America had control of them for a while.
Yes, it is true about Spam being on the breakfast menu at McDonald's in Hawaii. Not a big fan of the flavored Spam, nothing beats the good old fashion plain Spam. While we are on the subject of Spam, you need to try Spam Musabi.
I love the way you did your recipe the only thing we do differently is after I get everything hot and added together the last step make a small well in the middle of the pan and put my eggs in there let them start to cook and then stir them around getting some of it on the rice
I did not know Spam came in all those flavors AB! It's not in the stores I shop in. I cooked this the other day, but I didn't have all my ingredients. It did make a big difference. Cooking it your way from now on. I also used hot rice....I was hungry AB! Cold rice from now on! 😂
With the addition of chopped green onions to finish, I made this dish for a Hawaiian themed get together. Someone sitting across from me didn’t know I had made it said, “This is sooo good!” 😊What a good feeling!
I haven't had Spam in years and you just made me wanna run out to my Walmart and see if I can find all them different flavors bcuz OMG you did the thing and now I have to make this for dinner one night Thx AB 👌🧑🍳👏
It's like AB be knowing what my taste buds are set on when he be making these videos. Another banger that I can whip up for myself & the fam. Appreciate you bro
I think I want to try making this for my Dad. I’ve always been grossed out by the smell and look of spam but this actually looks good. Spam is one of his favorites, I’m sure he’d love this with a side of orange chicken.
I never knew they made any spam but regular spam , wow. Could I use Canned Chicken in this great recipe , prices are going up DAILY , MILK $6.79 1 gallon yesterday. God bless us all , Trying to find cheap but good recipes. Even started gardening again 2 years ago. God bless you Mrs Josette Tharp Montgomery County, Texas 🙏🏻
