I remember when Thomas first reviewed the Q7 last year I said Audi missed it. After watching the car over and over I realized it's me who missed it. The car is awesome especially with the pack of technologies loaded in. It's left MB and BMW behind. This car is the new benchmark for the luxury mid size SUV IMO Again thank you Thomas for your thorough reviews

Thanks for a great review. I cross shopped the Q7 with the Volvo XC90 T8, Rangey Sport and X5 and they are all great cars, but the Q7 in echelons above in terms of versatility, dynamics, interior quality, handling and more. Yes, it looks rather reserved and wears a business suit rather than Couture, but is immensely handsome in person and the tech, the sheer advancement of the thing is palpable. Having owned and loved the original Q7 when it first launched I can safely say that I love this one even more. And offroad? I've had a blast and it never let me down.

I just watched your Q8 video and came back to this to see the difference and I’m so disappointed that the Audi clicking noises are going away that was my favourite part. Love you guys also I think the SQ7 is available with micro fibre seats now ✌🏻

Excellent review Thomas! One of the best Audi cars definitely, with a monster V8 TDI under the hood. My favourite colour is blue with grey and speaking about the upright sitting position is my favourite one - that's why I prefer the new Tiguan.

Auch hier...Daumen hoch :). Euer Channel ist einfach der beste. Der SQ7 ist für mich persönlich zu klobig. Fahre zur Zeit den SQ5. Bin sehr zufrieden, auch wenn er weniger PS hat. Aber die 313 Ps BiTurbo Dieselmaschine geht schon gut ab.

Hey Thomas, long time lurker, first time poster. Normally I like to refrain from commenting on RU-vid to keep my sanity but felt I should show my appreciation for the top-notch reviews you and your team are putting out there. Especially love it when you are test-driving on familiar territory so near to BL/JU. We are doubting between a combination of the VW T6 / Audi S1, so we'd have a vehicle for travelling around with our 2 large dogs and another for work, and the SQ7 at the moment but that might require some measuring for the dog crates. Still have some time to ponder though before our current Audi A4 Allroad goes back home, hopefully enough time to see the new Skoda SUV in action on your channel to really mess up our decision. Keep up the good work!

i've ordered the blue sq7 this morning after taking it for a test drive yesterday.Even in the beautiful blue the car is still not the best looking car but the interior,technology,the driving dynamics and even the fuel economy is something amazing.In terms of refinement you could almost compare it to a Mercedes S Class.Thats how smooth it drives.

10:43 yeah and on top of the pretty good standard features you also get the exclusive engine that no matter what you might put in in a standard Q7, you don't get the 4 liter V8 diesel with 435 HP and 900newton meter(663 ft lbs) of torque that you onlt get in the SQ7 Awesome video love the focuse on every details :)

Great in depth review as always Tomas. Love the car, my only criticism are these pop up GPS screens Audi is going with, I just don't like the look and feel that an integrated screen would look way better..even if it was smaller. I'm sure 80% of Audi SQ7 owners will just use the heads up dash display instead . cheers, BW

Surprisingly I like the low engine noise. Interior is minimalist sport design, very nice. Outside is dated still. It used to have a SUV high stance in beginning and that's been traded for a mommy-wagon low profile.

Pretty weird cars to cross shop? You can only compare a Q7 to a Mercedes GL and a Volvo XC90. Also the Q7 is almost twice as expensive than the Volvo XC70 fully equipped.

CinemaUnited "You can only compare a Q7 to a Mercedes GL and a Volvo XC90" you're mistaken, I can compare whatever cars I want. .......these 2 are on top of my list for bigger 4X4s ......I must also throw in the very nice WV Golf Allroad. ......I would have a hard time choosing 1 out of these three actually, for a nice big 4X4.

Excellent overall and thorough review as we have come to expect from you ..... yes, truly a "dream SUV" for sure. I have a suggestion for you from here in the US ...next time it's raining that hard you should forget your German/Euro roots, and slap on a stupid American baseball cap...it would help a lot in that situation ! It is amazing, and the exterior takes a bit of getting used to, but I love mine now. After cross-shopping with RR Sport, this was the better car in many ways and although RR is better looking, could not deny Q7 has incredible tech and luxury, not to mention the autonomous safety features.

Excellent.The professional review I was waiting for. I have a question for you, if it is possible. Is the engine noise, when your foot is not to heavy on the accelerator, too conspicuous inside the vehicle? Because I understand it may be interesting to have that booming purr when you want to accelerate fast, but in a long journey, and specially for me, an animal of comfort, too much engine noise with the windows closed would be a big no no.I personally like the Daytona grey colour more. The front grill and the side panels fuse seamlessly with the rest of the car. The Thomas blue is also very beautiful. :) Thank you very much.

appreciated! Hm what do you mean? The sporty engine noise especially for the SQ7? Its not that loud inside, and plus if you want it more silent, dont go into dynamic mode :)

The Q7 is a nice car but I went with XC90 after having both on loan. Audi better drivers car but price off extras were off putting, the Volvo had better seats and for cruising. But as always Thomas great review. PS while driving the Q7 I was almost busted by the police while testing its o-100/100-150 on a 50 road.
