These may not be the best, most expensive, most audiophile-tastic headphones out there, but they're low-profile, comfortable, inexpensive, and block a ton of noise. At $14 I highly recommend them! Find them at the top of my "moto stuff" list: amazon.com/shop/everide

I'll try them. I have been riding with Plugfones for quite a while and they work well too. Actually still on my first pair so they have also held up well.

dude... just wanted to say: i love your vids, i love the way you approach life ... i have allot of ups and downs mentally, and allot of anxiety problems... but hearing you talk about your problems and enjoying the rides (not this video), made me plan this trip for next month... 5 days alone, wildcamping in france and swiss alps... :)

Got a pair of these and I do like them as well. Comfortable and cheap. They do have a kind of "unofficial" noise cancelling feature since they fit snugly and, as you say, are flush mounted on your noggin. I love your vids man and was proud to say I saw a few guys sporting your t-shirts in Austin in April at the Moto GP. Keep up the good work and be safe.

I received these headphones on Christmas '18. I just had a chance to use them yesterday (Jan 6, '19) as we had a 65+ drg warm spell. They worked wonderfully! The base and highs are more than adequate for riding. I have a Bell MX-9 Snow, and it's not the quietest out there to say the least. Having the music comfortably at the ear, with ear plug like noise reduction allows much lower volumes, adds a huge amount of detail while allowing environmental noises to not be overpowered. The hard case is pretty cool too, it now holds/protects my headlamp. Thanks for the recommendation!

i just wanted to drop in and say i just finished my first ride with a new set of decade gloves and battle born pants. very happy with both. thanks for pointing those out. i was going to get a battleborn jacket as well. but right now the olympia ranger is on closeout for $195 on bike bandit and revzilla. lot of jacket for the money.

My tried and true earphones over the years has been the JVC Marshmallows. They have foam eartips that have a perfect seal around the ears, similar to earplugs and the sound is very good for a sub ten dollar headphones.

I've been using Skullcandy earbuds for several years now.Similar to these.I found out if you wet them,they slip a little further into your ear canal,and make a better seal.

I tried these because of the way the cable comes out at 90°. Though a few bucks cheaper, they are not as good as Plugfones in either sound quality or external sound suppresion. Gave them to a friend and they came apart the next weekend. Ive been using same set of Plugfones for three years now without issues.

it seems like the plugfones might protrude out a bit further than would be comfortable. Do you have any problems with this? A re they comfortable underneath your helmet and can you put your helmet on without them popping out?

My usual headphones are Gummy brand from Wal-Mart because they are $10 lol. As most headphones one speaker ends up not working after a few months or something. I like the idea of how deep these ones go in your ears, sometimes it is definitely hard to keep the gummys seated in my ears correctly when I move my helmet around. They work great as ear plugs, but after long hours and hundreds of miles at a time they do start hurting pretty bad. I'd love to try these out, unfortunately I want headphones TODAY, you just reminded me. So alas to Wal-Mart I head. Yet luckily all of these guys are super cheap! Quick note for someone who just wants ear plugs- The most comfortable thing you can get are malleable silicone putty ones. And they're perfect (minus music capabilities).

How big are these things? I'm a big dude with little tiny princess ear canals. Like a Qtip just fits. So far... After about 4 dozen attempts... I've found one brand of ear buds and 2 brands of ear plugs that will actually fit.

I think the only real concern for headphones on trails is you may not hear your bike making noises that would warn of a failure. but i guess if somethings gonna happen, you'll probably just be screwed either way hahaha

On a serious note those look like some good headphones. I have the problem whenever I put my helmet on it pulls my bulky headphones out of my ears.

Just a tip...reach over your head with opposite hand and pull on the top of your ear while inserting plugs/speakers. They go deeper and stay in better. Ear doctor approved.

I bought these on your recommendation. For about three years I have been using these: www.plugfones.com/product/basic/ The plugfones do not have great audio quality (I think the speaker is smaller) and they lack a mic. But they isolate sound far better than the Maxrock. I have loud exhaust and I cannot ride without them. They are definitely worth a try.
