I have one of the older ones and it was a game changer. Made the whole thing easier and more accessible. I do love the look of this all glass one so maybe I need a replacement 😂

I've really grown to hate these because they get super gunky between the base of the brewing vessel and the sieve. Does this one not have that problem? I've fully moved to flute brewers for my low-footprint brewing.

True. Even the soda & citric acid doesn't melt it away. Sadly it's a problem.

@@reubenk1615 probably a matter of concentration. Last live session Don recommended soaking it for 15 minutes in hot water with citric acid and soda. The resulting bubblage should melt the gunk away. Perhaps you should try it with hotter water &/or more citric acid /more soda?
