Absolutly killa vid, good to see the cruser enter the 25.8th century. Im keen to see an episode of you blokes tigging up a custom water tank or something along those lines 🤙🤙
Proud of you macca, great 12v install. remember when doing water tanks to factor in center of grav and weight shifting when full, especially since you like to climb. With the water access points, make sure they're no where near where you may need to be dry. e.g. entrance to the tent, you don't want the ladder to be in the way to access the water/hoses. just my non-professional 2c :)
Hey Maca for the tub fit out, do a beer chiller system so you can run a keg instead of wasting fridge space with tins! Google 12v beer chiller, you can get one that pours -2 deg beer from a hot keg in about 8 mins from start up!
The way these vids are all editing just hits. Mint tunes, quality little captions and just making maca look like hes losing his mind. Keep up the mint work boys 👌🏻🤙🏼
Yikes when the dash has its guts hanging out...😮...but looking very smooth lads. Glad to hear the plague has moved on from your houses...haha for now (when you have little kids!!!) 👍✌️👏
Gday, it’s got all the modern bits now, I reckon you needed that flu in the middle to ease the stress level a bit with all that 12v, shit hot job mate, cheers
Make the tub setup by yourself. Get a water tank maybe from pak Offroad, compressor and tank. Drawer fridge and a drawer with a slide out table / kitchen
So Maca - re the camera inputs - do you see a time when a camera could be placed somewhere looking forward to help with spotting ? Basically giving you exact wheel placement? If so where would you put it so it gives good info but doesn’t get ripped off? This was easily your best ep as you explained in detail how everything goes together
Very good idea I never thought of that tbh! I would say in the bumper on the passenger side, I can usually see the right hand side with me head out the window! I might even put 2 fronts on! Sick idea!
easily the best 79 in the world. from the coiled rear to the auto transmission then all the interior mods, literally has everything you could ever ask for. would you ever do a estimated/rough amount of $$ its cost so far?
Not a fan of coloured lights but bloody hell it looks shit hot. Macca, you are going to be the cause of whip lash of all the rubber necking traidies across the country!
I'd love to know what your editor uses to edit, and where and how he comes up with the cool and vibrant txts and designs added to each video it looks awesome.
Little tip for anyone at home with the cable tie belt, do not use the front 2 loops. Mate from work rushed into the toilet and then realised he'd cable tied to either side of his fly 😂
Not a cruiser man personally, but this is one wicked setup guys ! well done.... almost converted haha..... side note... your text/logo effects? custom or a preset ?
Great Video Guys, hey Maca, any chance you have a photo of what the camera connectors / inputs look like on the camera end? I have some heavy duty external cameras I'm going to use as rock spotters up front, they have night vision as well, and after seeing your rearvision mirror, I'm almost sold on it, especially having 3 inputs, that suits me perfectly. My camera connectors are a round weathersealed 4 pin connector, The cameras are Nextech QC3542 models. If they connect straight up to the mirror loom Ill order a mirror online ASAP. Or Can you tell me the model number of your mirror even. Cheers for the awesome build series.
Mirror loom has yeh the mini 4 pin round connector! And comes with a camera to suit, but only has 1 input. The head unit has 3 inputs front rear and side or whereever u put it! And are all av connections!
@@macpreston ahhh damn, I got mixed up and thought the mirror had the 3 inputs, I'll have to sell my soul to afford that head unit I think haha . I have bought a potentiometer style switch that i was going to use to dial through the cameras on my current double din head unit ( only single input ) but having a smaller screen dedicated to other things as well seemed too good to be true. Thanks for the reply though, really appreciate it.
Definitely with all the sound proofing that’s a must in these tin cans unfortunately! I’m not a sound natzi but I like a nice head unit and clear sound, I don’t need it to be so loud that I can’t hear my engine 😂
Absolute ripper episode, love watching the raw content keep it up boys 💪🏼 there’s something therapeutic when it comes to watching builds and this cruiser makes me froth 😅
Don’t need to do it full time! I’ve built about 20 cars over the years with a full time job and working away 4 weeks on 1 weekend off! Stay into it legend rome wasn’t built in a day 💪🏼
They don't do it for the cash bro they just use it to lure in slappers of questionable looks and weight for a wrestle outside the pub and a smack on the ass to send them home
