I came here after the news. I remember the episode where he died in the show and now it also happened in real life. It hits so different. RIP Bob Newhart, you will be remembered.
My favorite part is not in this video. It's when he had trouble with his pacemaker and Penny says "is there any chance we could plug it into the potato?"
Bob Newhart was an excellent guest star as Professor Proton on The Big Bang Theory. He also finally won a Primetime Emmy Award for his work guest starring, and I’m really glad he did!
I fell on the floor laughing to this episode. As a kid watching Bob Newhart since the 60's, and this being one of my favorite sitcom's now, I could not control myself.
I love Bob Newhart! I never watched Big Bang Theory so I didn't know he appeared on the show! I think I may be a fan of the show now!!!!! Thanks for sharing this excellent clip!!!!!
So, right, Leonard doesn't know how to use cool and awesome correctly. Right there, with those small details, it's when they began to spoil the show by making the characters inconsistent with their initial arcs and developments just for a quick laugh and fill up screen time. And by inconsistent I mean turning them into stupid, incapable, thoroughly incompetent versions of themselves. Especially the men.
