God bless you!! I tried this after very exhausting hours redoing margin again and again , when I was already following all instructions correctly, and nothing was working, and it finally worked with your special instructions. Thank you!! Lots of love from Oz!!❤❤
Mine isn't even giving me specifics as to what the error is? Do you know how I go about finding out? I am super frustrated because other videos I watched about doing this were like "it's so super easy" and I'm like, uh no it's not!
I'm having the same issue. They tell me to fix the errors but they don't show where the errors are. Very frustrating. By now I hope that you have found the solution.
@@beatricescott7385it happens sometimes that they don't mention what's the problem exactly, what I'm using which is working that i save all of my books pages as jpegs, then i create seperate pdf with these jpegs, then it never indicate any mistake and errors
Thank you for your help! My book looks good no errors but then I go to order a sample book it changes the book to calendar style opening, opens from the bottom not left to right like a book? Please 🙏🏽 help . I’ve been stuck for weeks!
The information is very helpful. I just want to know how to make my first page look like my book cover. All the elements and text go to the edge of the page, but it says to put them inside the margin. If I place everything inside the margin, the elements will not go to the edge of the page. What is this problem? (book with bleed)
I have two self illustrated books . I am using adobe acrobat pro (which kdp does Not support) and believed this one program could accomplish the project. My text and illustrations are correct however I did not use a template or other program so my manuscripts reject do to this. Interior Add 0.125" (3.2 mm) to your book's page width and 0.25" (6.4 mm) to the page height to ensure that the images in your manuscript extend beyond the edge of the page. Once you have added the size, extend any images or backgrounds that you want to reach all the way to the edge of the page 0.125” (3.2 mm) beyond the trim line. This prevents manufacturing issues when the file is trimmed to size. See examples PDF page(s) 4, 6, 9, 13 - 14, 16. Must I buy yet another program to learn it and finish ?
Issue I'm having is inconsistencies with the print quality. I've ordered 3 author copies of the same book, and each time the shading, book cut was different.
I want to know two things, How can I take out 4 pages of my low content book and 4 from end when the whole book is nothing than blank pages as told by kindle? lol. The second is how do I duplicate my differnt design fin the interior for all the pages but the cover page? I know how to in the right corner of book bolt it says it will duplicate but when I click it it ony duplicates on one page over and over. Thanks for the info.
Hi, I uploaded my journal with title " A guided gratitude journal" and they said this may be misleading and they also said provide us a Authorization that you own this title please tell me about that
@@PassiveIncomeTemplates I've seen a lot of books with long titles , and many of these keywords don't appear on the book cover , so i assumed they were back end keywords .
Hi, I have a question, I submitted a hardcover book with a colored interior and since they only have premium color and it's so expensive I chose the black and white interior option, it transformed to black in white in the previewer and it was approved, my only concern is when they set-up the "Look Inside" it's still showing as colored. Will that honor the black and white or will they print it as colored?
It will print as black and white. If you’re concerned about the images showing in color with look inside, I’d recommend editing your interior and turning the first few pages that show with look inside black and white so that you don’t confuse customers!
I kepp getting the "Resize the background or image on your cover so that it extends 0.125” (3.2 mm) beyond the trim line. All covers must be sized for bleed, which means you need to add an extra 0.125" (3.2 mm) along the top, bottom, and sides of your cover file. Once you have increased the size of your cover, extend any images or backgrounds that you want to reach all the way to the edge of the page 0.125” (3.2 mm) beyond the trim line. This prevents manufacturing issues when the cover is trimmed to size." Helppp please
Sounds like your cover document wasn't sized correctly - you can input your dimensions and get a template with the right dimensions here - kdp.amazon.com/en_US/cover-calculator
Hi, thanks for the video. I'm surprised you didn't address the Most common error, "fonts are not embedded". Sure KDP fixed it for you but you still risk a small chance that your design will display slightly different. How do we embed fonts in the PDF before uploading? Thanks again, your videos are very informative.
hi l have a error that your file format is not supported than l convert the manuscript in epub file it again show error but not show what tha actually prblm plzz tell ma what l do.
Hi Laura, thank you for the videos. I just started my kdp journey. I am wondering, is there a way to upload notebooks fast without using bookbolt ? Let't say I upload 30 books of the same size. Can we set a default , so we don't need to click the dropdown list to choose the size (for example) every time when we upload a single book ?
Hi, I am trying to publish an wordsearch book but Amazon is sending me the following error: Insufficient gutter: books with 107 pages need at least 0.375" for the gutter (inner margin) and at least 6 mm (0.25") for the top and bottom margins. If you could ask me for guidance as I don't understand how to fix it. Thank you. Angel
it keeps saying I should have a minimum of 24 pages for my interior but that doesn't make sense at all. Also my cover isn't uploading. It's super frustrating!
Hi Laura, thank you for the videos. I watched most of the videos of your channel and was very impressed about KDP earnings, I would like to know that I am living outside the USA and can make a start KDP on Amazon USA??? Awaiting your response
