It was. I was about 5 at the time. We were all waiting for the Celtics and bruins to get it together which - as history would have it - they would. We took those rosters for granted!

I was 18 in ‘04 when the Sox won, the Pats were on fire as well, it was an INCREDIBLE 20 year run, the likes of which I don’t think another city will ever experience again. Unfortunately I can no longer support the Sox, Pats or Celtics given they’ve decided politics were more important then their chosen sport. I’m a believer that everyone has a right to express their opinions however I also believe there’s a time and a place, I also don’t believe screaming about so called racism while at the same time being racist towards white people is a way to be taken seriously plus being a fully disabled combat veteran myself, I find kneeling during the national anthem DISGUSTING AND DISRESPECTFUL

And yes, Curt Schilling not being in the Hall of Fame is absolute highway robbery and it will eventually be corrected. He's a bit short on the longevity stats, but his postseason track record should be more than enough to make up the difference.

I was also 18 in 2004 when the Red Sox obliterated the Yankees in the epic comeback. Hard to believe that I'm going to be 38 in over 5 months. Where did all that time go?

I was 10 back in 2004 and I'm not even from Boston nor USA however my father was a baseball player in the Panama City, Panama leagues. He has always been a Red Sox fan and we watched this whole series at home with my older brother. Until this day I can remember how high we jumped, the three of us, after winning game seven!!! 20 years ago and feels like yesterday! 😊😊

Ben Drescher well I think it’s because considering MLB didn’t use review headphones back then because the rules didn’t change that time yet they couldn’t show what happened on the play possibly on the big screen but if it was shown it may possibly be a different story not sure I am a true Yankees fan I only saw this from the TV and also other teams fans did throw beers on field when they think calls were wrong like Braves vs cardinals WC 2012 and 1999 ALCS game 4 Yankees vs Red Sox it’s hard to see what happens now when something happens different in the past.
