Zeus is releasing their Pro series in a couple weeks with fancy bash guards and an even beefier battery. It will be my first upgrade from the exway x1 max.
Can anybody tell me if Ownboard has better or worse customer service then Meepo? I'm debating between the Hurricane and Zeus pro so it would be nice to know.
You gotta love the Zeus. I am now down to a toss up between the Zeus, Hurricane, and GTS. BUT, still leaning Zeus. I do like the GTS VESC though and the DKP trucks, but I like the smoothness, stability, and longevity of the Zeus. Thanks for the view and comment. Ride hard, carve safe, and have a great day.
I’ve been trying to contact with eovan team to order a gts but nobody answers. It seems that the board is out of stock but the lack of support or information is making me to reconsider other options.
Ya, sometime I will share my Eovan support story when I bought my board. I have not found too many eSK8 companies with great followup support. The guys on here who do say they have good experiences are usually the ones that the company realizes that they have a viewer base that could cause a disruption in their sales, so they make sure to give those guys good service. I'd still recommend the GTS as a board. Support is probably going to suck no matter which board manufacturer you go with. Hang in there. There are some new boards coming out in the next few weeks. Maybe this is a sign to hold off and see what the new boards might have to offer. Thanks Dude! Ride hard, carve safe, and have a great day!
@@denisgomez1555 I have dealt with Meepo, Ownboard, Propel, Backfire, and obviously Eovan. Out of all of those, Ownboard was probably the best...but not by much. Hope that helps.
And those would be good choices. I am kind of liking the Zoobomb 111mm wheels. Have been testing them lately. Just put them on the Zeus, but the weather took a dump on me, so have to wait to test them on the Zeus. They were pretty nice on the GTS and Hurricane. Thanks for the view and comment. Ride hard...carve safe, and have a great day!!
@@eBoard3R Okay, well that sucks!! I really like the grip of them. They really make the board look like a traditional longboard with the wider, flatter wheels. The off-center core looks a little light to me, but so far it has held up with no cracks or stress fractures.
@@joshuatheodore3261 They could as long as you have the correct ABEC pulley and belt. I run the cloud 120mm with a 40T pulley and a 300-5M belt or you could use a 44T with a 290-5M belt. The GTS 125mm wheels use the same ABEC pulley as the 120mm clouds. Both of the previously mentioned ABEC pulleys can be used on the 125mm wheels. Hope that helps. Great question.
