That always drove me nuts about the Eldar. Destroying the stone WOULD have banished the daemon, if they had reached it sooner, before such a large amount of people and xenos had died on the planet. SO IF THE ELDAR HAD DONE *LITERALLY NOTHING* EVERYTHING WOULD HAVE BEEN FINE. The entire species is Aqua from Konosuba; useless.

To this day I still play the dawn of war games and honestly the mods for soulstorm make it even more worth it like the unification mod or the ultimate apocalypse mod. Recommendation to those who have played the four Warhammer 40K dawn of war games I recommend giving those mods a try if you have soulstorm.

all jokes aside dow 1 started as a campaign where you are fighting to save as many lives as possible that turns into an invistigation to stop chaos only to loose more lives, resourses and planets in short and long term...and havent even mentioned the darker parts of this campaign 10/10. im sorry dark crusade is good but it cant get darker than this

I came into this game when I was 13, my dads friend ripped it for me (Along with world in conflict, what a top lad). You cant believe how confused I was at not only the grim-dark, but also the weird sci-fi shit, since I was only exposed to star wars and star trek lol. This was during the golden age of 4th edition and it was long until I was hooked beyond belief. Winter assault will forever be my favourite, but I have good memories of being an unsupervised teenager, chugging pepsi max while laying my genetically modified roid hogs into orks.
