I think Victoria can only blow up what her eyes are focused on. She blew up her old friend's hand because it was the part of his body that she could see. He was using his hand to try to turn her eyes away from other parts of his body. If I'm not mistaken, I think Homelander is the only character she constantly STARES at when he's around her; she's knows how evil and unpredictable he is, and is always ready to use her power against him if she needs to.

Aya Cash that played Stormfront is indeed Jewish. I suspect it is quite an intentional choice by the producers. I remember reading that there has been some problem with the usage of character moves by real sympathizers of that idea. I think the example was American History X where the main charter who is a white power skinhead and neo-Nazi was used by real people with that ideology. An image of a Jewish actress playing a nazi on a TV show will not be used for real-life neo-Nazis as a role model. There has been usage like that of characters from the show. Search for "Homelander Trump" and you find an image from a protest where a Trump supporter at a protest wore a Homlander costume with a Trump's face, and his buddy has a prisoner outfit and Bieden mask. Homelander is clearly the villain of the show but still, real-life people see him as something positive.

It was great to see Simon Pegg in this episode, even if he did phone it in. Season 3 was shot during the Covid restrictions, so you'll probably notice stuff like that to try to pad the show here and there a bit. Even Charlize Theron's cameo wasn't shot in Toronto, her bit was shot in LA and they just spliced.her into the scene. I guess it was some foresight on Newman's part to wear a red coat. If she sticks to the shadows, she should be fine. Supposedly the production used up all the fake blood in the Toronto area to shoot this season and they still ran out.
