I enjoy the sub, but they should do dubbed which is also great. Let’s be real, there’s no way they’re all giving 100% of their attention to the screen every episode to read every line of dialogue. Molly may have to go burn cookies during any given episode.

Homelander is incapable of showing actual emotions for his son, because his son isn't a person to him. Homelander sees Ryan as an object for him to own and mold into his own image. There's no "love" there because Homelander literally doesn't know how to love. The girls are right for expressing no sympathy for him. The fact that you do is more of a you problem.

@@ThoseHorrorPalsNJ so you're basically telling me that when Ryan and homelander were having a conversation in the beginning, homelander didn't mean any of the things he said, because I don't think that's true,also another proof that homelander actually cares about Ryan is when soldier boy brushed Ryan back and homelander immediately came to check on him and him saying to Ryan "yeah I'm right here,it's gonna be okay".Well unless you wanna believe that homelander actually cares for Ryan though he is not a good father figure,then that's also a you kinda problem then, because he has literally shown emotions all throughout the 3 seasons especially towards Ryan,but if you like these girls don't want to feel some sort of sympathy for him even if the show wants you to see that he actually cares about his son,then yeah that's a you problem as well. And they do have double standards,cause when maeve punched him in the dick,they didn't say anything,when he punched her in the torso,then it's a cheap shot,and there are many occasions like that throughout all of their reactions so yeah,they do have double standards.

Yeah, they're all pretty words, but they're bullshit. Homelander doesn't care about Ryan. He thinks he cares about Ryan because he thinks of Ryan as a tiny version of himself. The second that Ryan expresses autonomy, or a want to do something that Homelander doesn't like, he'll turn on him the way he's turned on everyone else who rejects him.
