The scariest thing about homelander is his facial expressions, which Antony Starr portrays phenomenally. He looks like he’s always in control, but he could snap at any moment.

Idk... Antony Starr looks handsome but there is something about this blonde hair and shaved face, in combination with his mouth/jaw and eyes that gives him this frightening "I can kill you anytime" Homelander vibes. But maybe it's just because of the show and I wouldnt think that way if I hadn't seen it. I watched another interview (Banshee) where he has a short beard and short hair and he looks like a normal friendly dude.

The suit that he wears is actually pads IN THE SHOW... As in its not just for us viewers to know, but in their world, it's known to be pads, when he wears it for his image... You know how he likes to be personified as a god... That's why he wears the custom padded costume.
