A bit of realism with recovery gay fish mistaken for aquaman aka the deep , that dude should be into the ocean saving whales, avoid the sinking of ships and illegal pollution.....
The most messed up scene was easily Homelander popping Blind Spots ear drums. It was completely uncalled for considering how nice Homelander was acting, and it made you realize that you really never know when this guy is just going to snap during a scene.
I was like, oh cool we will get an exploration of ableism and how its exploited by the media for a feel good narrative that just exploits those regular disabled folks day to day then BOOM lol my god. Homelander said more about how the world is for disabled folks in those three seconds than most hollywood films have in the last several decades
or it could make him stronger? like hector doyle when he lost his sight he gained superhuman hearing and when he lost his ears he gained sense of touch
One that was looking at us all the time. When Storm front says "I like to watch the light go out" is a homage to The first batman movie where the joker says..."ever danced with the devil by the pail moon light" when he kills someone.
He set it up well too. I was all interested in hearing who this woman was, turns out it's my mom! I had to pause the video to get out a minute of laughter... :)
Did anyone else notice that the news channel was NNC but when Annie was talking to Hughie on the phone she said CNN instead? Was that a mishap or do they both exist in that universe?
“Most likely not in the box”? Dude, Translucent was blown in to many, little, bloody bits. I would’ve been tiny, red pieces if anything was actually in the box. Clearly it’s empty.
@@tauren00 I mean, they did put his remains in a box homelander couldn't see into, but they knew they would find what was left of him so they bought as much time as they could
First time commenter, long time viewer. I have to say, I love your breakdowns of The Boys. It's (The Boys) a great series and whenever I'm done watching an episode, I always watch your breakdowns. Also, leave my mom out of this! She's a great lady!
Well, The Deep did recover his remains from the ocean, so technically they could have actually put the left-over pieces in there. Obviously they didn't though
Sorry this isn't really related, but I had to ask. Why aren't you guys doing Lovecraft Country? It seems like the type of thing you would be all over. I need that in depth analysis that got me through Watchmen, Westworld, etc.
When Hughie dropped the Hunger Games name I understood immediately the funny reference, because it was in fact Jack Quaid first movie role ever Second, please Ryan hope your read this, since he has an Italian name, the correct way to pronunciate Giancarlo Esposito name is *Jhan-karl-oh s-poh-c-toh*
When hughie is leaving his place to meet up with starlight, behind the gate/door is a poster of soldier boy? Saying "buy classic superhero comics here!"
That scene you said was pretty fucked up but I think what Homelander did you Blindspot was equally as fucked up. It was alot more intense and Homelander didn't give a shit.
Most messed up scene for me is right near the beginning after Black Noire cuts off the terrorists head and he plays with the Teddy Bear for the little boy while holding (what I assume is) his father's decapitated head.
the boys already did that, aand they put him in a bax and threw him in the ocean. The Deep found him and showed it to HL and Vought, so they technically have the body, it's just, too pieceful
Maybe not a strong connection but sympathy for the devil playing while the secretary of defense is discussing with Vought reminds me of suicide squad’s beginning with the same song.
Translucent is LIKELY not in that coffin? He MOST DEFINITELY isn't. Butcher hid is skin in a chest in the ocean in season 1 and when the Deep found it after a few weeks they showed it, and it was just a bunch of blood and gory stuff. :P
Yeeaahh...Translucent's exploded bits and pieces are DEFINITELY not in that coffin. Public doesn't know he was blown to bits from the inside out, remember?
when ur 'easter egg' list is just made up of cinematography:S also the scene where it was comparing starlight glamorous life? Lol no, its showing how far beneath starlight annie is. Taking off boots, make up, hair, breast enhancers, what about this is glamorous???? Its contrasting how wee man lives his own life in the dark and dirt and annie willingly and with a sense of relief is turning from the light and 'glamour' of vought life to be real and dirty anonymous and hidden like the rest of the boys.
Huge spoiler...... possibly They show homelander in numerous scenes since the first season and then cut to Black Noir. One scene in the second season they are right next to each other.
I think it's unnecessary and the wrong comparison to show a image of a t-shirt being sold for black pantha/ Chadwick Boseman. When he did not just represent a superhero. Obviously there is much more and i think selling stuff in remembrance of the character is no problem. It's up to whomever wants to buy.

Although Black Americans were treated better in nazi Germany than they are treated in the U.S.😆😩 (I was born in Wiesbaden... now that I have kids, I’m seriously wondering if they would be better off if I moved back there... at least there, they don’t have to worry about a gang that will kill them knowing they’ll get away with it because they wear badges)
@@TheRealReVeLaTioN not to shade on your experience, but if Black Americans where treated well by Nazi Germany it's because they where Americans; i.e, foreigners. This would've had to happen before America entered WWII, so after that they would've been treated like POWs (not very well). Germany's own Black citizens where treated similarly to Jews and other non White people. Some Blacks where sent to concentration camps, some where sterilized, some where denied certain forms of employment. The point is: Afro-Germans where not treated well by the Nazis, so Stormfront's attitude towards the Afro-Americans, and Asians makes sense.
@@AlonzoCRichardson US segregated it's blacks in the military; Germany didn't. History is written by the winners, and Judaism is an extremely racist religion.
@@madthumbs1564 your claims are extraordinary and therefore require extraordinary evidence. The Nazis, by their own recorded text and videos, believe that Whites (particularly with blue eyes & blonde hair) where the "master race" and they planned on subjugation all non Whites, or anyone that they believe didn't follow gender norms especially Jews, Blacks and guys. They wrote this in their own words; the victors didn't have to.
Not sure if it's a Easter Egg, but Mothers Milk wears a Wu Tang shirt. Method Man auditioned for the role and Mothers Milk strikes a strong resemblance to him.
