Just when you think this show can't get any better or crazier, there is a Japanese dub.

0:05 the moment feels as if Home lander literally heard him speak Japanese for the first time, and is amused to the point of answering back in perfect Japanese.

This has to be the best dubbing I have ever seen… Especially at 2:28 It feels like the VA was right there really experiencing such horrendous situation unfold!

bro, this legit adds a new layer of camp to the satire that i never realized was missing! it's amazing!

I hope the VAs for this are shown the feedback we have for them. They did super well in an industry where dubs aren't usually good in these scenarios. They really showed their passion for the project.

Hughie's VA is so good I believe that instead of letting him see the scene by recording they made him watch a real person's head explode.

The Japanese voice actors are just sooo good with their voice modulation, it's amazing. They can lend their voice to any show and make it better.

The fact that they kept the original audio for Blindspot screaming is hilarious. The entire thing is dubbed, then it interjects with the actual audio from the original show

Okay but the VA they got for Homelander is fucking amazing. He sounds so playful and sarcastic but also so intimating.

What I love about this, is that the voice actors don’t sound like ‘impersonations’ of the original actors if that makes sense. Like, Homelander’s dub doesn’t sound like Anthony Starr, but it sounds like the perfect voice for that character in this particular language

The amount of effort you get from Japanese VA in everything compared to international anime dubs is astonishing

Am I the only one who thinks Homelander’s voice is pretty bad? He sounds like an over the top evil villain, and even though he is, the whole point of his character is that he *looks* and speaks like a normal guy most of the time. That is what makes him so terrifying

Listening to Homelander speak in any other language but English is always hilarious, but this is admittedly extra hilarious.
