Yes and no. There is an Edgar in the comics but the shows version of Edgar takes on characteristics of James Stilwell in the show

Yup. And before you ask, no, Homelander and Stormfront didn't have a relationship in the comics. And Stormfront was the leader of Payback and the second most powerful super person in comics. And when I mean second, I mean second only to Homelander. Soldier Boy wasn't anywhere near as strong as Homelander in the comics. Hell, Soldier Boy wasn't even Homelander's dad in the comics.

I feel like some designs are better in the show, but some are downgraded. Homelander for example, looks way cooler in the comics, his show costume looks bland.

It's not the same either. One is a parody of superhéroes and have some critics to the left and the right, and the religion as well. The show is a superhéroe thing with woke agenda. Still, l like somethings in the show, but l hate Billy's lame personality, Huey not being a european( it's important for the lore) and some gender sweep, like General Mallore. But Stormfront and A-train is nice

Зачем в сериале с повесткой делать негра наркомана со сверхзвуковой скоростью, которые еще и белых женщин убивает, зачем добавлять женщину-нацистку, которая критикует расширение прав для женщин ( я про грозу)? Не забываем также момент где БЕЛЫЙ ГЕТЕРОСЕКСУАЛЬНЫЙ МУЖЧИНА убивает черных в гетто, а потом приносит извинения но все равно их избивает на их же территории) Я думаю, что замена мужских персонажей женщинами, во первых необходимость сценария, Стилвелл добавили, чтобы потом был Эдгар, а Гроза стала женщиной в качестве партнера для Хоумлендера. Кстати, большинство женщин в сериале вообще не сильные, даже туповатые. А гроза и стилвелл очень даже хорошо раскрыли характер Хоумлендера и его безумство. Как по мне сериал высмеевает как леваков, так и правых.

Что бы не было тотального провала. Можно сделать годноту с 1 сезона, и дальше продвигать свои никому не нужные ценности.

I’m talking about something else, the fact that the Boys did it successfully, and that we have nothing against it, gives a free hand to the rest of the less talented racist shitheads who hate white people.

Stillwell's real successor in the show is Stan Edgar and stormfront being female was important for the plot. A-train already appeared brown in comics and black black noir is dead. So no, the show is doing what it needs to rather than what the activists want.
