Though Kimiko did have a nice bonding moment with him over their powers. I just think Annie would be able to teach Ryan how to be a good superhero as she is basically the only "truly good" supe in this show.

I think that Huey is going to get permanent powers. Huey is already at 4 doses (Russia, first soldier boy encounter, herogasm, the mindstorm Faceoff). He’s definitely going to take it again before hearing from Annie and the Rest of the boys. My bet is they will give him permanent V in an attempt to save him

@@fioafionawright8604 I have to disagree. It sets up the finale episode perfectly. Noir backstory was one of my favourite parts, his brain would of healed physically but it makes sense his memory and perception would be all kinds of messed up after. Kimiko getting her powers back makes sense, she was pumped full of V to acquire them so taking V again would have less diabolical side effects. V is a drug that alters your genetics. Having a temporary form must cause massive genetic instability hence causing the tumours and lesions that flashed up on the lab notes. We have everything we need to set up a huge clash. Everyone is in play, stakes are high with hughie and butcher bound to take more V. Starlight, frenchie, kimiko and MM representing ‘classic’ boys. I think the Maeve section was a good touch to show where she is and what she has to do in the current plot.

Liberty DEFINITELY provided the eggs for Homelander and more than likely knew that he was her son when she banged him which makes this so much more interesting than the "Noir clone" storyline.. Another great video but I think you missed a part of the Noir fight scene. Soldier Boy didn't just mangle Noir's vocal cords. He can't talk because SB smashing his head onto the car cut off part of the left side of his brain. It also explains the hallucinations because Noir is using more of his right brain. Lastly, it explains Noir's always looking out for Homelander. He probably always knew.

I have to wonder now if Soldier Boy's V frying blast can even affect Homelander now. They've stated that the radiation of the blast burns Compound V out of a supe's system. But if Homelander never had Compound V, his powers are genetically hard coded in his DNA, which means that's also the case with Ryan. So really, that would mean that Ryan would be the only one who could take on Homelander

I think, but thats only my predicition, actually theres plenty of them.: 1. This episode pretty much guarantees that Butcher and Hughie will take the blue compund V, the permanent one. If the temporarely kills them, they will risk the permanent one. 2. Kimiko used only half of the bottle, and i think that MM will give up on his principles, and actually inject himself, theres a clip of him and Starlight fighting Soldier Boy(In the trailer) , i think he wouldnt fight him as a normal human, he just would not stand a chance. 3. That'd be freaking awesome. 5. Homelander did get the location of Ryan , so he would probably be recruited against Butcher but he would turn , and be with Butcher and its not a prediction but i REALLY REALLY HOPE THAT STAN EDGAR WILL RETURN anyways, great breakdowns as always Charlie, keep up!

I don’t think soldier boy is going to die. Jensen Ackles said he didn’t know if he would be in season 4 but season three leaves the door open. I also don’t think temp v is going to kill Hughie or Butcher. I think either bad info was planted (no scientist is going to spell that out in layman’s terms on a piece of paper.) or they will find a cure. I am thinking the powers become permanent. Also wouldn’t it be sick if we found out Stormfront was the egg they used for homelander! Can’t wait to find out what comes next!

initial thoughts: I have to wonder if maybe IF Hughie and Butcher take the permanent V , that it would cure them. Course, Butcher would self loathe himself after that. My initial thought went there simply because it's obvious now that The Boys will have to fight both Homelander and Soldier Boy - so what better way to level the playing field? Option 2 would be that Hughier and Butcher get confronted by Starlight, Frenchie, etc and they stop them. MM and Frenchie take the temp V since they haven't started it yet, thus "freeing up" Butcher and Hughie from having to use it. No surprise on Maeve being alive, but it was good to see it confirmed. Will Maeve be able to escape or get set free by Butcher or Starlight? A-Train - I don't buy Bluehawk's heart being able to put him back to 100 percent. Honestly I half expected that to happen when Shockwave died if anything since his heart would make more sense to replace Atrain's. Noir... I am thinking he will make a temp alliance with Bucher to fight Homelander and Soldier Boy (plus his part of putting Homelander's "dad" in a Russian lab probably won't go over too well with Homelander at this point). Deep and Cassandra are probably over at this point. Edgar - maybe he will come back and help Butcher in addition to Noir or if nothing else maybe he has something better than the current temp V. I would like to see this version of Butcher to get redemption. Truthfully I thought he was going to be honest with Hughie about the V and I think we can all agree that they are probably going to take a fourth shot of V - furthering the chance of a lethal dose for the two of them which makes me wonder if they will take the leftover permanent V that The Female used.

13:42 it looks like they switched the placement of phosphorus (P) and fluorine (F) in the structure of the nerve agent. Idk if that’s a real toxin, but fluorine is monovalent (can have up to one covalent bond) and phosphorous is pentavalent (likes to have five covalent bonds) - basically the molecule is physically impossible as drawn and a super easy explanation for the mix up is that they swapped those two atoms. It’s a small thing but once I saw it the chem major in me couldn’t not say something 😂

Sometime when these writers are working on a show based on comic books they will change a characters origin or their sex ( from M to F ) and a lot of time it misses the mark like in “ Ant Man and The Wasp “ for example… and this show has made some changes for the show and they all worked for the most part ( Stormfront is a great example ) and now this revelation…the writers of this show and some of the actors need to start winning some awards and they can start by handing one to Anthony Starr…what a great actor💯

it looked like there was still a fair amount permanent V from Kimiko's dose, so what if Butcher is unable to get rid of Homelander and ends up having to take the permanent V to avoid dying to the temp. V, making him strong enough to help a younger Ryan fight Homelander. He could then sacrifice himself to save Hughie and Starlight, or whoever, knowing that the world is better off not having him as a supe. Might be too obvious, but something like that could be a good redemption arc for Butcher.

Soldier Boy is Homelander's Dad. Didn't everyone see that coming? It seemed so abvious to me I figured everyone watching would think the same thing. Then the reveal happened in a way that seemed like they wanted it to be a surprise. Huh. Vought wanted Soldier Boy gone. Vogelbaum OKed it and Edgar confirmed it to Noir. Giving him to the Russians might have been Noir's plan (or not) but the team sure did not act alone. Soldier Boy said that Vought didn't need to get rid of him because he would have been proud of Homelander taking the lead. All of that was going through Homelander's head. So not only has he been trying to kill his dad, the people who raised him threw his father away. I can't wait to see Starlight and Kamiko kicking ass next week! And... AAIRGH!!! I'm on call next week so I'll have to wait till July 16th to see Thor.

This seasons been great & definitely did not expect it to get this good. I never read the comic, so didn’t see The father son twist coming, but the timeline of it made sense. In regards to the finale, we haven’t seen NewMan pop too many heads this season, maybe we’ll get a head pop or two? Maybe she’ll pop soldier boys?
