I have never seen anyone get that excited for someone else's cousin's wedding, elopement or otherwise. Alice's reaction was a little over the top, I guess deliberately so in order to build the plot.

I thought Alice was at Mike and Carol's wedding so she would have seen the honeymoon pics.
