I love the 1st dress with the green embroidery.

The family knows she is indecisive, knows she has tried on 50 dresses, see her face, hear her say she loves the dress, and THEN TELL HER they like the first one better? Why would they do that to her?

She’s a beautiful bride!! Isn’t it crazy how someone could be absolutely gorgeous and still have some form of body dysmorphia and insecurities. It just shows you never know how someone may be feeling inside, gorgeous or not! A nice reminder to be kind to everyone and never judge ♥️

I don’t get why people think all ballgowns are similar, the blush dress was completely different to her twin’s . Different colour, different lace, different cut different neckline . It’s a different freaking dress completely

Perfectionism is usually expression of more serious issues. Eating disorder or BDD are mental health issues that are not to be taken likely, or confused with perfectionism or pickiness. If you are about to start a family and to take upon yourself a whole new set of responsibilities and life long commitments, you need to be up for a challenge mentally, well grounded and balanced. Or you are getting into new challenges before you've been dealt with those you already have. I've seen so many brides here who are simply not ready to get married and to start a family, for various reasons - that being mental issues or simply immaturity. Very few comments ever touched that topic and I find it to be way more important than dresses, tastes and never ending 'she's the bride' entourage criticism. With a bag of issue many of these brides are facing marriage and motherhood, frock or toxic entourage would be the least problem. All the best.

The twin... If I were the other twin, I would be SO tired of that twin's attitude. Always wanting to 'beat' me No doubt a gleeful schadenfreude, she thinks nobody notices... How depressing. .

I got married in a navy blue polyester a-line dress with no decoration. It cost me $30. I would have been over the moon to have the first dress and the wedding to go with it. It was *fantastic*! 💖

Entourages should always go with the brides choice. They throw the bride off so many times, especially one that has already tried on so many dresses. 😢

I think the first dress did suit Katie and perhaps they could have had the embroidery in white instead of green? The form of the second one looked a bit more aging as outdated. If she were overwhelmed, she could have made the decision another day. Regardless she’s still a very beautiful girl and hope she’s happy!

Im a tad confused, I thought that was Davids store and I thought Christine was the seamstress. Who is the store owner? I see she is a designer and not a seamstress, she makes beautiful dresses. The 1st bride is beautiful, it was sad to hear her say she didnt think she was. And she looked beautiful in both of those dresses. The 2nd bride, she also picked the right dress. She was stunning as well. Heck every one of those ladies were absolutely beautiful and they all looked stunning.

I being a Dressmaker. I made mine. I had a beautiful train behind me. BridalVill I made. I sew the sequence And the pearls. Are my dress and train.. Everyone said it was beautiful. Save me a lot of money.

Unfortunately, as lovely of those two dresses were, none of them really suited her. She would look far better in a slim figure hugging dress with far less distraction. those dresses were better suited to another body type. this does not mean she looks bad in them. she just let herself down by not choosing the style that best suited her figure. and in her case, she could have easily gotten away with a slimmer, more streamlined look that would have knocked the bridegroom off his feet.

Just because the silhouette is the same doesnt mean it's identical, so what's the problem?
