nice to hear their personal reflections on the great show. As people and actors they seem just so real. How refreshing in this world. Great to have this and of course lots of Nordic Noir choices.

Truly love these actors, they're amazing. Their chemistry is so damn lovely, loved when Sofia went "You haven't asked the sex question" Kim turned all red and replied "We can take that at the hotel"
I'm like the kid who just arrived, only got wise to this series a couple of months back, saw an episode by chance without knowing anything about it, later season, so I had missed loads, but I warmed to the character of Saga almost immediately, and also recognised the aspergers' syndrome factor immediately because I suspect I have had it all my life and only realised a couple of years ago, it's like a sense or something, but acting and storylines had me addicted, the underlying humour is so original, great stuff, got to buy the DVD boxed sets as soon as possible, something to look forwards to.
Martin's amused reactions to Saga's tactlessness and straightforwardness are perfect. It's funny how Kim still pronounces "Saga" as "Sega" in this interview.
In Sofia you can see the 2 life expression , the suffering part and the joy part in the same time , she is perfect for that role . Yeap I thing generally British cant be so brutally honest EVER ( Of course not all people but most of them and I lived in UK for a year not like a tourist) . So they lough when they experience such honest break less expressions and reactions of Saga. Martin sad it well , Sofia plays her role as a child and that would be the GOAL of mankind to be honest and straight forward all the time , that is the PURITY of life. Of course not many ppl are able to be that cos most of the ppl are full of stress and strain and blockage
At the end of season 2, one of the masterminds behind the mass killings murders his accomplice and walks away. I wonder if that loose end was ever tied up in the final two seasons.
I will remark on a few comments. Everyone knows the character Saga has Aspergers. It is not said in the series but it is "known". Sofia is " acting" as a person with Aspergers & says she has Depression to work through after the season is finished. So imagine what it is like when this is your life! Some ignorant cruel comments like "Saga is clearly flawed" I'm who is perfect in this world I would like to know? Neurotypicals are flawed as well. Another comment "There is something wrong with her" "She says something stupid" the interviewer says "I am laughing at the awkwardness of what she does & says!" So is it any wonder that people on the Autistic Spectrum feel so terrible about themselves because this is what our experience in like in the Neurotypical world every day. ASD has the highest rate of morbidity, shorter lifespan, more Depression & Mental Health issues. I have to say something positive however, Sofia says "I am so grateful for Saga on my shoulder she helps me to think about facts," Sofia remarked prior to that that she is quite emotionally driven. It was nice to hear a positive aspect mentioned about Aspergers! The world needs to open their eyes to all Neurodiverse people because we matter as well just as much! We are not here simply to be laughed at & shown to be abnormal. We are ourselves & we are okay to be that way. It is a hard life to live in when we are seen through such a narrow neurotypical lense.
I strongly believe that people have come to understand a lot more about people with Asperger and the fact they are different and not unstable. Those were the very words Saga used to describe herself. Both Salander in The Girl with the dragon tattoo and Saga understand they are different and accept themselves to be so. It is the rest of us who have to respect who they are.
Love the show and these are fantastic actors...I do not agree, however, that the American remake (and American remakes of European and Asian movies in general) is good. It is cheesy with woefully inferior acting and production and enjoyment value.
the American remake is painful to watch. same with the American remake of The Killing. i love being an American, but i would rather read subtitles than be subjected to most things that we attempt to remake to suit the American audience. such a shame, as they are two of my absolute favorite shows in recent years.
America is rarely original anymore in entertainment because imitation is just people who lack their own imagination! They are even remaking 80s shows now???
@@n.ayisha Everything American is painful to watch. They ran out of ideas years ago, and now all they can do is Marvel superhero remakes of everything. They always think they are superior in the world without knowing anything about it. Scandi noir is king, as are British and French thrillers.
@@bobbybigboyyes I’m American and totally agree American TV and movies suck! 90% of my viewing now is on my free PBS, Public Broadcasting Service, (mostly Brit series/films) and Netflix, who has many great Western European films and TV series.
Why is Suzy Perry talking way more than martin and saga? Two ears one mouth... Comes to mind. She must prefer listening to her own voice more. Suzy - try shutting up and stop answering for them. Martin and Saga - brilliant actors!
Get rid of Suzi ---any interviewer than one who constantly asks bland questions and over-talks each and every one----Rather like she (Suzi) is more into hearing her own voice -- adding nothing......
