4:50 - this is where you went wrong. I also immediately theorycrafted first strike on him, but the secret is to go prowler's claw, which will buff all of the damage you do in the next few seconds by 15%. This stacks with first strike and lets you straight bonk people.
I was thinking the same thing, cause the Prowler's damage (the flat dmg, not the percentage) is equals to the duskblade's dmg and it even has the added %, and although it has a longer CDR, he has the inspiration tree so he could get some item CDR and maybe ingenious hunter as well
Prowlers claw is definitely the way you work, it does not break your Q stealth to use it also meaning you get a free backstab since you dash behind your target
Ya know who else can almost guarentee a burst that the enemy can't react to...Evelynn. No lie have had nothing but success with First Strike eve. I think one game i'd gotten full build at 20 minutes and had 6k extra gold from it and 6k extra damage. It beat out Electrocute like it was nothing.
Yea, people are too focused on the gold value right now, once people start realizing as long as you start combat (which happens most of the time with assassins anyways) the 10% bonus dmg will always beat out elec. This is very easy to abuse on protobelt champs like eve who use it to gapclose and start combat. Not to mention oneshotting an adc give like 200 gold if they have sheildbow
as an eve main i have to sau dark harvest is much more effective if we're talking potential value but also first strike is just much funnier that i have to use it
@@jeph7434 my guy there's a reason no one takes dark harvest on eve. Rune is less dmg than elec 90% of the time and even if you get enough stacks to match elec you're early game dmg is fucked. You need a good dmg rune to get ahead on eve dark harvest just takes too long to scale
It feels like such a backwards rune xd You need damage to make the money, but you need money to deal significant damage. Where it's gonna shine is turning snowballs into avalanches.
Its most worth on laning champs that can safely poke and then follow up with a trade. And even then - its situational. But yeah... its super snowbally.

I am at 5 minutes and I already noticed the very obviously flaw in this entire plan... Apperantly Skooch was unaware of how little base damage Shaco has early on and how bad his scalings actually are. Shaco lives of the damage provided by runes and items themselves and his kit is only his tool to apply those. I am very sure that the damage he did with First Strike and the damage he got from the items he bought were not as high as the damage he would have done with a Predator/Precision rune-combo. Edit: That moment at 12:50 was hilarious. Skooch complaining that the snared taric somehow did not kill the Karma around 450 units away is the kinda classic LoL-Player vision stuff. Editt: Okay, most of this video could have been put into some kind of "salty noobs compilation" because Skooch just kept screwing up while blaming everyone else for it xD My favorite was him ulting, then not using his clone, taking 2 turrets shots and then complaining about Ornn not hitting his Q and W on a dashing Fiora with her vital MS buff active.
Skooch also just kinda took tower shots for some reason, then gets mad at orn when he dies... I love you skooch but you just be blaming yo team there, that was on you.
Yeah that wasn't the Ornn's fault, he hit everything except his e knockup. Which is hard to hit on a dashing champ when you can only knock them up in one area that's in the middle of the lane.
Ornn missing his stun was pretty rough, but he also didn’t use his mark after he hit his W, which is the main damage source, instead he decided to dash to a place where Fiora very obviously isn’t instead of dashing into her and knocking her back and consuming the mark
bronze theory: numbers game mordekaiser. Run red smite and exhaust jungle mordekaiser with phase rush. Rush boots then rift-maker. works out to about 110% morde+11% of their stats against 52% enemy
This just popped into my mind, First Strike on Fiddlesticks! You can 100 to 0 like 5 people in the mid game which benefits from the 10% extra damage and you also gain a ton of gold for something like deathcap
That Ornn literally hit every ability he threw out other than his dash knock up, and that was because she used her dash as he used his, please go back and look at that clip again. You also typically don't tax your laners after getting a kill, and pushing their lane out of prime position for them. That was a little over the top and boosted my friend. But I'll excuse it this time. 14:36-15:17.
3 prime examples of how delusional league players are 8:29 "unsuccessful game" being a 3/0/1 shaco at 14 mins. That's prob the most decent lead on Shaco 14:06 Invading enemy blue, while mid is at base, your botlane losing and doesn't have prio, enemy jg is obviously gonna be at his blue. 14:59 Ornn landed R, Q, His E misssed because Fioras q autolocked on you. But in the end it's meant to be entertaining, but shows how in the moment league players ego is through the roof as they didn't do anything wrong or the game going good/bad based on their perception.
Not all league players thankfully, but that’s definitely the reason I unsubbed from skooch. This series, at least as far as ideas go, is cool because of the ideas and seeing how they fail/succeed, but it was pretty hard to watch this.
The only point here that stands is the last one. Firstly; unsuccessful because his team got shit stomped overall. Secondly; because myself and many others have never seen a FOUR MAN ROTATE for BLUE BUFF in a normal, unless they are all premade.
Thankfully someone pointed this out, he whined way too much that second game and he had such a lead in the first. On a different note i play this rune on shaco sometimes and i think the stormrazor is hella troll, he'd get more worth going deadmans instead, also third item shoulda been LDR for the first game with all them tanks and graves grit draining poor puppet mans soul
Its really strong on blue kayn. You stack orbs at double speed, cus its a seperate dmg input. This means that you can get form like 5-7 min in the game. Hes alsoa burst assasin, so it even works better
I have been doing math for full ap Jax So, because of this build isn't that tanky, I've made to be more of a assassin, so: Hail of blades (good to get hits fast) Night harvester Lich bane Nashors tooth Those are core items, everything else is pretty much up to preferense. So, I did some math, and if you q to someone, time your ult passive and use w, because of these items you'll do 265% ap damage, 725 mixed damage, and 150% base attack damage all in one leap and auto-attack Buuut, because Jax is, well, jax, he will do that again in few seconds, and a lot of damage in between those two.
See if you tried this on like... literally any mage, it would've gone so much better Lux or Veigar specifically, I used this rune on Lux and I made 200 gold in like 10 seconds after i got my mythic. Lol
first strike on shaco works 10x better if you run him as support depending on how the matchup goes you can literally have a mythic before the enemy adc gets his and you dont even need to snowball in lane to do it

Idea for next bronze theory crafting. A build I myself use. Nautilus Predator, omnivamp, zombie ward, relentless hunter (the ms one I might be wrong with the name) Inspiration or precision secondary. Items Goredrinker->plated->bork->dead mans/wits end->axiom arc (if you're feeling spicy) Your burst deals close to 3000 damage and stuns and slows the opponent meaning you are almost guaranteed a kill from a hook on any squishy.
Played a game of Lethality Yorick top with First Strike today with an amazing success. With the Serylda powerspike I got a 1 v 4 Quadra. I went Sunderer > Youmuu's > Serylda > Serpent's Fang > Chainsword. Procing First Strike with E and sending Ult+Ghouls on the enemy often oneshot them. I think I got around 2k gold that game. Played against a team of 3 Golds, a Plat and a Silver. Was a fun time.
@@alihorda you have 3-4 graves set up, then throw the E that makes Ghouls jump on the enemy, and the Ghouls get increased damage and get you the First Strike gold.

First strike on Rengar and Kha is glorious. Shaco seems to be struggling this preseason, not sure why. That blue buff goon squad kill on you sums up preseason for me. My team are complete muppets 90% of the time.

Sadly, I have no friends who really play league, so, I'm always playing a lone, and being new, and pretty horrible at the game, I always get people being toxic to me, and, I just want to improve so I can try to enjoy the game without getting bullied every single time. Problem is AD shaco needs hail of blades for late-game burst. This would probably work better w/ AP Shaco since your entire rotation can fit in the 3 seconds with better burst and your traps can proc it w/o you even needing to be in danger.
In response to your Kayle Video, I have a Bronze Theory for you to test: Kayle ADC with Zilean Support. Kayle's early game shortcomings are made up for by having a support, and Zilean can increase her levels faster. Build Kayle full on hit adc style: Kraken Slayer + Guinsoos for core, and Zilean builds regular support.

The best use of First Strike i have found so far is on Thaliah Support. Her q is Super safe and from there you can do your full combo. Together with Draven you get a Moneyprinter Botlane.
what i did with first strike on shaco was doing shaco ap so i just put the boxes on the map and farm and gank and in the moment someone enters the jungle the boxes just gives me around 100 200 gold. doble mask diff
Skooch, my buddies and I stumbled upon a build we like to call Xylophobia. Rengar asc khazix support bot lane. Both assasins bot can appear out of nowhere with all the bushes bot lane, and can bully the hell out of an adc and support. Khazix evos w first and he is suddenly a catcher with 60 or 90% aoe slows and as much burst as his adc. If you can maintain vision control bot, its just way too bullshit to deal with 2 high burst assasins with lethality. You can either burst the adc or the support almost instantly, and all but the heavies tank supports right after. It snowballs hard too because if the kungler comes down, just another poor bastard to put your early game burst and mobility on.
after a bit of playing with it, AP shaco top works really well with first strike. Start with E though, I was able to get my mythic at 6-7 minutes on average.
