@@akash2008ap she's american, americans can't let go skin color. I don't care if they're black whire yellow blue or green, I just like to see people who can cook and have a story to share. I'm glad I'm not american
I just want to say that this is the best series you guys have ever produced, I actually end up rewatching episodes multiple times! If it's not too much trouble, please organise the newer episodes into a "season 2" playlist just like you did with the previous season, that will make for an easier binge-watch!
Munchies has gone really international with this one. I’m happy and surprised. I’m now looking forward to the ladies making a restaurant. Big blessings to be.
@MERCY Merak ve Empati news360.info/2018/12/20/132-children-die-of-malnutrition-in-kaduna-state/ By admin December 20, 2018 Did some researched and this happened in Nigeria. I know Nigeria is one of the wealthiest countries in Africa: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_African_countries_by_GDP_(PPP) Anyways these girls are awesome, they are hard working
Great to see that so many of the emerging and thriving economies are African. An economically healthy Africa, or at least as much of Africa as possible given factors such as global warming, dictatorships etc, would be an amazing blessing for everyone going forward.
Yay !!!!!!! Young, black, female, business owners. We definitely need more of this. So proud of you ladies. Keep going and reach for the stars 🌟 Don’t let anything stop you. ✊🏾✊🏾✊🏾✊🏾✊🏾✊🏾✊🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾
When people say: "Wow, this looks way too stylish...this is not Africa!" Educate yourself, Africa ist not always what schools and even universities in the west show students!
I mean, what kind of statement is that even? Africa is a continent. It's like looking at my Leberkäs and saying "this ain't European!" No shit man, lol.
I’ve been to Nairobi and eaten many times at Mama Rocks and I can tell you for sure: they make the bets burgers on this earth. Much power to you my sisters ❤️
I just love this!! I am African, and grew up in the states. It's really nice to see 1st gens going back to their motherland and making positive changes. Very inspirational, and the Masai burger looks delicious!!
Wow, the two of you are so inspiring. I have watched a lot of Street Icons and I can honestly say that I want to visit this place the most! Looks delicious and you two ladies ROCK!
BY FAR THE BEST BURGERS IN AFRICA, PERIODT! So Happy Munchies is showcasing their incredible talent! They are just as vibrant as you see in this video as they are in person and in their food! YES! YES! YES! Get in there girls!
I visited Nairobi on February. I just came a cross their food truck. I am not personally burger fun. But believe me they have the best burger. As well as their fries sweet potato is so delicious.
Bless your hearts, I was born in Nairobi Feb 5th, 1975 as a British citizen, served in the US Navy for eight years and you just made my birthday very special ~ I thank you ~ much love and success heading your way ~ Cheers
Africans are about as nationalistic as it gets. It’s a damn good thing that the African nations can’t get their shit together. Y’all would probably go nazi on everyone.
When I see hard working immigrants like these two or basically anyone, it just brings tears to my eyes because it's people like these sisters who make this country great! God bless them and i hope they're an insane success !
Why is black history month a thing? It’s like “ here’s your own month! You’re not a part of history in general! So just take this month to celebrate the blacks!” Why isn’t there a Jewish month or Muslim history month? As a black man this pizzas me off that we get a month and isn’t regarded as history in grneral
@Jot Grewal If your American and saying "remember all history" and dont know the history of unequal treatment in that Country that's extremely sad. There's a obvious reason why some days and months are celebrated from the achievements by certain groups that were not treated equal. THen their should be No Presidents day, 4th of july, Memorial weekend etc.
@I Love Sandy Perkus name a regional food that's better, haha. These burgers dont capture everything , lol. My roommate was from Ghana and he made food in a way that was so nice, it took time, and love - and I have honestly never had anything better. And ive been around, hahah. Ive tries to remake the recipes after watching him numerous times but ive never been able to capture it. My favorite dish of his was joloff rice -and I add an extra scotch bonnet. Ive always been obsessed with rice and that blew me away. Love the heat and richness from the tomatoes.
FromRussiaWithLove am sure most foodies know where french fries & burgers came from. It’s not just the sauce,it’s the meat being used. Living in the US i can tell you that goat & lamb meat isn’t commonly eaten here,in fact people look at me weirdly when you talk about eating them. To using plantains as a side,i have not come across any restaurant that has the selection that they have at mama rocks,i have been there. I don’t know how anyone would watch this clip & think “I didn’t know burgers & fries originated from Kenya & Nigeria” You sound salty😅
FromRussiaWithLove like Europeans never copied any thing from other places of the world lol. Besides these are Kenyan Style burgers, they didn’t say they created the burger so why you all pissy? And he didn’t even go off topic. He was stating the truth, you just can’t make a solid counter argument
FromRussiaWithLove what? No one said that this is authentic Kenyan food. It seems like you’re really trying to downplay their business success or you just can’t stand positive images coming out of Africa? Thank God majority of the comments were positive & complementary, understanding what the clip was about. It opened some people’s eyes too so good for them👏🏾👍🏾🇰🇪
