There’s not enough words to express how much I’m enthralled by your reimagining. Not only do we get playable broken Draenei, we also got Forest trolls and reconciliation for the crimes committed against them. Plus, they get a chance to be seen as more than just quest fodder or mindlessly hate fueled. Subscribed.

Okay, I really should have watched this video before your Sylvanas' one, because I really love how you nuance the characters and change up the events in a way, where they make more sense. Heck, even by just listening to that first part, I can tell that Illidan's and Kael's story line in your version will certainly be more complex and even if not much is changed up, at least better structured. Really looking forward it, if there's another part to come. ^-^

I absolutely adore this video!!! So many good ideas. I'm going to ramble a bit: 1. The way you put together the expedition team is brilliant. I love the interpersonal conflicts between the characters!! It's the opposite of what BFA did to the characters, i.e. having characters who would hate each other working together without mentioning their apparent conflict of interests. Having an interesting group of characters /with/ believable, interesting relationships?! Amazing. It's one of the reasons why I loved Mists of Pandaria, as I felt like the characters' interpersonal relationships were incredibly interesting i.e. the 5.1 questlines, Wrathion and Anduin, basically Anduin with anyone... which is why I adored Anduin in that era. (Though the portrayal of Tyrande in that one scenario was godawful.) Not to mention -- YREL! I LOVED her before they screwed her up in the Mag'har Orc recruitment. And Valeria!! Not to mention, the involvement of Sylvanas!!! Having her take an active role in the search for Alleria is *clenches heart*. 2. THE AMANI!!! Blizzard treating trolls as actual beings instead of a kill bar would be great. The fact that there are so many quests calling for blood elves to kill piles of trolls after the numerous atrocities they faced... like... why? Sylvanas being a key player in that alliance is so great as well. Love your videos!!!

You should try to see if they have any opennings for the Turtle Wow writing staff!!! they share a lot of sensibilities in regard to the lore with you, also i would love them to try their hand at at transitioning into more burning crusade storylines after they made such a good job enhancing vanilla, you should check it out, i think it also has an active RP community, cant corroborate tho, havent really dipped into that part of the server yet but im loving what ive been seeing so far from the turtle team

Can I just say I have been quietly following you for a few years now (and found your yt through your fanfiction) and I think this sort of content suites you well. You're smart and considerate and nuanced and I've always gotten that vibe from you. The kinda vibe that says "this will make an excellent media examination RU-vidr" I have never played warcraft. But I do find aspects of the lore fascinating. But it's really hard to find good analysis of it, given ths community. You are a very welcome voice on that front. And you are incredible at breaking down and examining media. Thank you for sharing this content and polishing it up so well. I look forward to more.

I really like this video. I searched for a reimagening of the classic WoW before TBC but couldn't find it. Isn't there a video about that or am I mistaken?

Once again the community writes a better version of WoW than Blizzard does.

I know it's gonna be a while, but I'm curious how you'll handle WoD in the future-- you used a lot of its good ideas in this series (Which I decided to give another watchthrough) and seem to be avoiding the need to do any time travel to get a fuller picture of Draenor. Are you planning on doing some sort of different Outland revisit expansion to replace it or will MoP just go right into Legion?

I love your reimagining, but instead of leaving out the raid in the zone, why don't you make the raid in Deatholme? I mean, Dar'Khan is a character that deserves more lore relevance than he got, and he'd be perfect for the Amani and Blood Elves to test their new alliance.

Holy crap thank you for making this! I've been following your Hearts of Ashes stories for a while now and have loved every letter of it. Now you're (hopefully, I know too well what big projects like this can do to a body, ugh) gonna bring your own wonderful perspective and attention to portraying a situation from all sides to giving us a WoW story I'd want to actually play! Is it a problem that a portal can be opened that easily to get escaped Broken from Shadowmoon Valley to Bloodmyst Isle, when previously it required special things like The Dark Portal? Is the newer lore about Azeroth being hidden still intact? (and for that matter, why could the Exodar or later the core of Xera get to Azeroth if that shroud existed?)

I’m a little sad that this version is not actually what we have in game. Which brings me to I LOVE your retelling of it. I’m going to sit and watch this a few more times because Reasons™️ I particularly loved the part where Sylvanas convinces Lorthemar about allying with the trolls because that’s the part that makes most sense. And I fail to understand why that’s not what happened in game. (And that little part where Sylvanas doesn’t want to talk to Lor about honoring the dead, I cried. Our poor Dark Lady. Please give her some hugs. Lord knows she needs some) PPS: since I’m gay I wanted to ship Loralen and Vereesa, but then I realized this was back in TBC and Rhonin is well.. so I’m like fiiiine Vereesa can be with her husband and their twins. Lol. I’m sorry. PLEASE I NEED MOAR OF THIS I BEG OF YOU
