Now that the Z06 is out in the wild so to speak, and a handful of cars are in customer hands, as well as several media outlets have started to get their test/review cars, we're starting to get a better vision of what the total picture of the Z06 looks like. Today we're going to talk about 3 recent news stories, and how they give us more information about the car.

Awww...Yeah... It's Fredday Again...ha ha ha! Fred, another great video and content my friend! I am in 💯 agreement about how the Z06 is being compared to several other supercar brands and doing extremely well holding it's own! I too thoroughly enjoyed the videos you referenced when I watched them! Austin's videos never disappoint and I'm newer to Hagerty's level of videos and subscribed a couple months ago! Looking forward to seeing your take on the E-Ray leaked information, new exterior colors and interior color options! Be well -Shane

Hey man! Thanks, I appreciate it. I'm particularly happy with how this one came out. I realized I needed to shake it up a bit, include more images (besides just me talking), and hook people with a quick preview of images early in the video. Doesn't hurt that the subject matter was so fun/exciting too! This coming week is all about the E-Ray, you read my mind! Fred, I watched those videos plus Austin out with a Lambo owner. What I enjoy about Austin is that he is not a Corvette fan-boy and eagerly talks about all cars and praises their good points. I am looking forward to Austin at the track seeing him head-to-head with other cars. I did enjoy the MT article as well. Bottom line is that the Z06 is establishing itself as a member of the supercar class. There will always be naysayers, 'it is only a Chevy' but those are blinded by their bias. But bottom line is, now that the wife has etched in stone, "We will buy one!" GM when??? Sully

What I like about Austin is that he appreciates the cars and treats them well. I am annoyed at the "influencers" who have their foot in it at every opportunity to impress their near adolescents fans who will never own such a car.

The Z06 is not out in the wild enough...As someone who's had a deposit on a Z06 for 2+ years and # 20 on the waiting list, my supposed reputable dealer tells me he has no info on when I'll be able to order the car. If this situation continues much longer, I will be ordering a Porsche instead..

Nicely done, there is no doubt that the Z06 is untouchable in its price range. I wonder when someone's going to run it against a Tesla Plaid? Are you making a big Jenga Game???

Agreed! The wood is actually going to be for an off road course for my little RC Rock Crawler. I have to get cutting the wood further soon, so I can finish it. I'll make sure to share it once it's done, as a few people have asked. :) Have a nice day John, always nice to hear from you! -Fred

Could have got a non aero allocation at Macmulkin but I'm waiting for aero and high wing. Not sure I'll pass next round, it's easier during winter. Have a good weekend Fred.

Hi Robert, Nice to hear from you again! The drop in list (from what I heard, but haven't verified) is 45 allocations were given out to MM about 2 weeks ago. I haven't validated that, but I'd be surprised if that many dropped off all at once, especially after months of almost zero movement (other than the recent first wave of allocations). All those videos were good ones. The McLaren was in nearly a different league from the Z06 but how happy can you be with a car that is first expensive then uncomfortable to ride in. Do you just drive to the occasional car show and try to grin a bear a short road trip? Bottom line is the Z06 is very simply faster than other exotics of similar or more money and more pleasant to drive than some. I just wish the 55% who are "out" because the Z06 is way too expensive, would hurry up and drop out from in front of me on the MM deposit list.
