I actually owned one of these when it was new. It was a great truck/car. Rode wonderfully and was reasonably quiet. I was in Dallas and a man and his wife came up to me and he said. About the car, how much?? I said what, and he said, I want it. I laughed and he said, my wife wants it, how much. I wasn't looking to sell it but he just kept on. He said she got what she wanted and she wanted the car. I popped off a number $$$$ and he said, follow me to the bank. I did and he purchased the car and they gave me a ride home. The car was sold in an estate sale a few years back. I didn't know about the sale. I found out about it after the sale. I would have purchased the car from the estate.... Rare and fun to drive...
Way back in the early 1970's when I was a teenager, there was a Cadillac flower car with a pickup truck style slide in camper mounted in the bed. I always wondered how well that combination performed. It sure looks cool!
Caddy actually made these as far back at the 1930's I've seen them for sale on EBay even. Funeral homes would buy them to carry flowers to the cemetery. Every funeral home in St. Louis had one in the 1960's when I was a kid. They are sharp
In Europe is rare to see a Cadillac, and these cars are built only for the USA or for the California roads wich are huge compared to ours... if you wanna park a car like this here, it's going to be a big challenge xD
