The Canon Sure Shot Owl was one of the camera that came in that bundle I picked up off Facebook Marketplace. I always test my cameras, and usually with Fuji 400. This roll was SO GOOD, that it made me regret selling the camera after I shot it. The perfect little point & shoot! Let me know what you think!

You got some nice shots. For sure need that ISO400 speed film at your latitude/longitude coordinates at this time of the year!!

I love the Owl and its huge viewfinder. Most of the photos sold from my flickr site were shot with this camera too. Not sure why, I have photos from over 100 cameras uploaded on there.

That’s awesome! I agree about the viewfinder. So large and clear!

Great video and photos. I haven’t been to London for a few years and I forgot how much character it has. The lens on the owl doesn’t seem to be that sharp. I hope you kept your negatives, and I don’t know if you self develop and scan, but I think you can work those negatives some more…so you might want to revisit them in the future once you learn more of analog photography. Fun video.

Thanks! I get my negatives developed and scanned at All Things Film (lab) in London. They are pretty good; they probably just look compressed because of how i exported the video file

Hi! I have the Sure Shot Owl PF (more recent model, higher specs) and I really enjoy using it. One thing I don't like is that the flash is automatic by default so every time I turn the camera on I have to press a button 2x (once for force on, once for force off). Sometimes I forget, especially if Iturn my camera off between photos to prevent accidental shots. It's better than your version of the Owl because you have to hold down a button while shooting to keep flash off. But still, I want to try a model with only a manual flash. I saw your videos of the Canon Sprint. That one looks like it has manual flash control. How do you like it? And how does it compare to the Owl in your opinion? It has a faster lens and bigger range of shutter speed, too.

So the sprint is a lovely little camera. The lens wasn’t great quality, but i still got some nice shots. I have a Pentax Zoom 60x and it’s a fantastic little camera. I turn the flash off once and it stays off, which i like. It is super annoying when you have to turn the flash off every time!
