@babyycat oh, no, carol too is a great singer. she just never stressed it. remember she made her mark first on broadway. she could always stand tall with the best of singers...remember she and julie andrews did their concerts together, in harmony and in key with each other. carol is a fantastic singer. take the time to watch some of her stuff here on youtube, and i thing you will come to realize she has talents you're not aware of.
Carol was never one to just sing. If she had an excuse, could work it into a skit, then she would. It seems only later in life did she get the confidence just to sing.
Absolutely not. It means you have excellent taste and a keen recognition of what is quality entertainment. Carol is a great and legendary performer. I love her.
Contact his mgr mr. Stephen Campbell at Jim's website:Jim Bailey Entertainer. He has LOADS of Jim's past acheivements & needs to put them on dvd for all those who love & want to relive Jim's memorable moments. Or better yet, do all you can to go to see him at his latest live performance!!!
He always did his own singing. He was a classically trained singer, with superb control over all the registers of his voice, which gave him the technical tools to re-create the voices of Judy Garland, Barbra Streisand, Peggy Lee... he described himself as a "character actor," and that extended to his wonderful singing.
