I created this video with several video interviews I already shared on this channel but was asked to make into one video for the fans.
I thought sharing this on what would have been Benjamin's 75th birthday would be perfect.
I was sent some of these videos and also bought a DVD with some of these. I wish the picture quality would be better but sadly they are not so great.
Because the purpose is to non-commercially share the legacy of Benjamin Orr and The Cars and help share information with fans , it is being uploaded under the terms of Fair Use. No copyright infringement intended. This video was created to celebrate what would have been Benjamin's 75th birthday.

The first one is of course the MTV interview with Mark Goodman for "The Lace".
At 3:09 you will see a very blurry interview about "The Lace" with Benjamin and Diane Grey Page, with Japanese subtitles. The quality is terrible but I love the chemistry you can see in this interview and Benjamin seems pretty relaxed compared to other interviews so I had to include this one.
At 4:23 you can see an excerpt of the interview which was done for the UK program called "The Other Side Of The Tracks" and the interviewer is Paul Gambaccini. I actually liked and respected him before seeing this interview, I felt pretty annoyed that he could not even ask a few questions that Benjamin could have and would have wanted to answer.

@5:12 is another MTV interview sadly with copyright all over this, once again the interviewer is annoying and also has not done any homework on the band and the questions are answered with so much grace by Benjamin. Benjamin said he was recovering from the flu.

@ 10:35 you can see the Drive interview done for the Heartbeat City DVD where Benjamin is his usual charming and witty self when asked about what he likes best about making a music video.
@ 12:20 you can see some excerpts from the MTV awards with Benjamin and Elliot Easton. Sorry for the bad quality but still worth watching I think.
