My favorite part is at :50 when they start the simple chords of "Don't Tell Me No" then Benjamin Orr busts out singing - what a voice and range! I hope that you live longer in your next life, Mr. Orr; you are missed...RIP.
I'm so glad I got to see these guys in concert near Angels camp,California in 1984. I had a great time watching the Cars,Berlin,Ratt.R.E.M and Huey Lewis and the news that day. What I would give to go back in time and see that concert again.
Oh Lord I love this. Ben, Dave and Elliot look so young and Ben's voice singing, Don't Tell Me No, is absolutely incredible. Their antics backstage are really too cute . Instead of being obnoxious rockers destroying stuff they're playing around and Ben is drinking milk. You've got to love it. These were just regular guys doing what they loved , playing music!

I like seeing these guys talking and acting like just regular guys. Ric always had the weird, in his own world persona but I liked seeing him talking about the food in the dressing room and the "fucking" ties. Nice to see the human side of stars!
Thanks for that info. She's definitely been back to the Czech Republic as it became a democracy (again) in 1989 when communism fell in all those former Eastern European countries (and rightfully so). So Ric has six sons altogether- cool!

Ben was always laughing and being a brat. The guy with the glasses talking about the Grill Cheese Sandwich sounds exactly like Donald Trump.
Might have been "Slipaway" which was never released on a studio album but would have been an out take in the Candy-O Panorama era and would have come on their double disc set around 1995.

I know this was 3 years ago but I have read your comments. It certainly does look like Paulina in this 1981 video. I was convinced it was her but at a closer look it is a very beautiful Japanese girl. Probably a model because Ric certainly had a type. Paulina Porizkova's family were quite famous because her parents moved to Sweden thinking their daughter would come later but, she ended up staying with her Grandma. They were all over the news for years She ended up going to Sweden in her teens and was discovered there.
FYI: Yeah, his real name is Ricola Otcasek! He changed it slightly so he could star in the movies. And Bens real name was Benji Orrlasek! He also changed it and made it shorter so he could land roles in films, mainly Documentaries!
As much as I love this video ,and hearing " they're my fucking ties on the floor " ... If I could time travel ,I would walk past them while they are trying to flirt with those Japanese girls ,Take a lens wipe to the camera that filmed this, clean it , kiss Ben Orr on the mouth , and teleport back?
