I wonder who Steven is, why his camera was so garbage, and what David was up to that he didn't want him filming everything in the dressing room. Wow! They played the previously unreleased Slipaway
Benjamin was the best singer in the Cars. His vocals made the Cars. The mold was broken when he was born and his son looks a lot like his dad. When he was sick and in the first video he was still Beautiful to me just like he was on the inside. R. I.P. Beautiful man you’re missed so much by so many. ❤️🩹❤️🩹❤️🩹❤️🩹
holy shit never heard this KILLER song until today, been a fan of the Cars since the 80s. This has many layers to it, very new wave but also prog. rock. I don't see Ric Ocasek in this video, where is he?
What in tarnation is this? LOL. Ben seems so out of place here without his bass. This is a really bad 80's video but Ben is cute even though he absolutely cannot dance!
Wow!!!!! This would have been a great song and video to put up on the big screen at their induction into The Hall Of Fame. What an honor for Ben and fantastic tribute. I'm not sure why they didn't do anything like that for him?? He is awesome! ❤
As much as I love this video ,and hearing " they're my fucking ties on the floor " ... If I could time travel ,I would walk past them while they are trying to flirt with those Japanese girls ,Take a lens wipe to the camera that filmed this, clean it , kiss Ben Orr on the mouth , and teleport back? ( or not.. ) ... The End ..
Also if ya dig this song by The Cars on youtube you may enjoy Where Roses Grow Live by Rez Band. I remember hearing the song by Led Zepp " In My Time of Dyin " during my drug years and made me think about death and Jesus. Then a hippy friend that dug Jesus told me more of Jesus love and forgiveness and how I could also know Jesus love. So in 1981 I cried out to Jesus and wow man He came into my life and I had and have so much joy and peace and now know that through Jesus when I die I will be with Him in Heaven. Hey Jesus loves each of you also and yall can know Him if you are at all open. Just cry out to Him and also read the Gospel of John in the Bible or check out the movie on RU-vid. 😀
I have heard The Cars' music ever since they started, but I never knew that Ben Orr had sung "Let's Go" or "Bye Bye Love" until June 2024. Ben was the better singer.
