Hey Eric, thank you, thank you, thank you. I’m almost speechless. Words can’t express how I felt when I watched this video. You are a very special person to do such a great thing like that. I am truly appreciative for the kind words. The RU-vid community needs more people like yourself so I hope you don’t mind if I return the favour in one of my future videos.
You are very welcome. Just wanted to thank the person who gave me the final nudge to get an EV, and I knew you were so close to getting 1000 subs. If you ever do mention me in one of your videos I would be more than grateful.
Eric H I passed over the 1,000 mark this morning, thanks to you. When I get a chance I’ll look and try to figure out who the 1,000th person was and let you know. I will be mentioning you FOR SURE in an upcoming Video. Thanks again Eric.
That's a really nice gesture. We have an Ioniq hybrid as we can't home charge and the infrastructure in the U.K. is patchy at present. A real strength of the Ioniq is it's low drag factor and of course it's comfort and handling.
The electric Kia Soul EV and the Huyndai Ioniq EV do have the same information system and climate system controlls, but if I remember correctly they don't actually have the same battery and drivetrain components. That might not even be due to a lack of cooperation between the companies, but rather that they wouldn't get the batteries made fast enough if they had to get them from the same manufacturer.
