The drum-beat throughout the chanting scenes really increased my unease. Very good narrating as always Mr.CreepyPasta.

The hardest part to believe about this story is that the father got primary custody of the child.

OMG this is absolutely terrifying. I've never dreaded the sound of that drumbeat more than I did in this story. It doesn't help that I started watching this at EXACTLY 11:00 P.M with my windows open.

That chanting noise is actually chilling...

Oddly enough, there is actually a moral to stories like this (although I'm not sure if the author really intended for there to be one). This one is don't just dismiss your kids when they have something to say. Most likely, it won't be the case that your child can hear a satanic ritual in the forest and you can't, but there are real life examples where people should give their children a little more credit. I know a girl whose stomach pains were dismissed by adults for a long time - including some doctors - until she was finally diagnosed with a serious disorder. There are also loads of kids who try to report when someone's abusing them but everyone assumes they're just making things up. So yeah, to all the future and current parents out there, remember to give your kids a chance to speak. That is all. Continue your creepypasta-ing. lol

My god this story was horrifying. I haven't heard a story recently that has made me so afraid. It is good to know that people can indeed still write a good Creepypasta that will actually frighten me. My heart is literally still beating fast. Holy crap was that a scary story.

The Bridgewater Triangle in Massachusetts has long been the site of alleged paranormal activity, including supposed cult activity. Very Lovecraftian.

That chanting 'music' is really creepy.

this is the first time in a while where a story has paralyzed me with REAL fear!!!! I think it's because of how long it is and how detailed it is, but the scariest part was the music that you played during the chanting sequences. My heart raced every single time I knew it was coming!! Listened to this last night at 3 am and refused to take out my ear buds, fearing I too would hear the chanting outside my house!!! Good Job, MCP!!! Hope there are more stories like these!!!

Oh man mcp your narration are getting really good. I got used to creepy pastas for a bit and i started to not get scared like i used to by them, but these recent have given me that gut fear I enjoy so much. Quality mcp, quality.

I have to say, this has become my favorite Creepypasta; right up there with Jeff the Killer. Kudos to the writer and your narration was wonderful, as always! :) Using 'Chase Pulse' for the changing bits and the encounter with goat man was an excellent touch. Neat!

There were a lot of cases similar to this that I could have experience as a kid, but didn't. Thank God I have good intuition.

This was an ok story, the ending kinda sucked, but besides that it was pretty good. Also I nearly crapped myself because the band practice was going on outside my house at a college, and I heard the drumbeat continue when the story ended... I think I need new pants.

That drum beat music that plays when they are chanting freaks me out to no end. I actually find it difficult to listen. Its a bit like in your mr mix story when at the end it keeps repeating "mix mix mix" or something like that. I actually had to pull my headphones out of my ears it scared me that much

I listened to your vids from the very beginning. I had a few sleepless nights, and in some cases, was afraid to walk out to piss. Nowadays, I can't get scared for jack. nothing scares me other than a flinch here and there from a jumpscare that makes people scream. I love the genera of horror, I've grown immune to fear. I now walk at 2 A.M. pitch black to pee. I jump in the face of danger in outlast whilst everyone screams and runs away. I have you to thank for my immunity to horror. So thank you, MCP.

It's about to be 12 I started this story around eleven with my lights off .. my room is literally within the backyard, my windows are broken but at least closed and I'm terrified because the normal sounds I hear at night just got quieter but I have my doh to protect me
