Plot Twist: The room was filled with natural gasses causing hallucinations and other oddities. The world exploding around him was the flare gun igniting the gas- ....Yeah. THat's definitely it. o-o

NEVER, EVER do what that guy did to his friend's ankle. Under no circumstances. That guy could have just caused a painful but common ankle break to rise to the level of an eventual amputation of the foot. Just never take anything like advice from creepypastas actually.

I compleatly misheard that as "The Jackle waves." Now I've just got visions of this horrible monster sitting in the darkness, waving at cavers like "Helloooooo! Gonna nom your souls!" And, I'm sorry? Terrible things happened when this guy went climbing in the Andies? Terrible thing? Is this guy fucking jinxed or something?!

This sort of reminds me of the movie The Decent.

This was actually the first creepypasta I ever heard. I listen to them a lot and I've written a few as well, this story is pretty special to me.

The ending is something Michael Bay would do.

Mr. Creepypasta this is by far one of my favorite stories you tell. I can honestly say I was sucked into the story and very creeped out towards the end. Great story

i remember when i first heard your amazing narration of this one. Absolutely satisfying and such an awesome creepypasta. Id say this is to be among the hall of fame. Cant say how much i appreciate this one you did.

Not going to lie, this started out good, but ended up cringe af.

lol... "should we help him?" "NO. We already walked down some stairs. were like already 20 feet inside this cave. we cant go back." the fuck man. why even write in the characters if you throw them out a sentence later.

I think that was the single most entertaining, terrifying, and overall best story I've ever heard. Your voice is very complimenting as well, and I love it. (No seriously, I really like your voice dude. Its perfect for this and you know when and how to act according to the story. You're very talented) and usually something like this would leave me wanting to know more but I know exactly enough to be satisfied.

I've not heard your stories until today and after seeing the "Jr." I was optimistic. I have listened to a lot of others Reddit etc. but YOU are by far the BEST one and I'll listen to your stories from now on! You are very good! Been a while since I listened to this. It's still epic. I'd love for a movie to be made, but they'd only make the Jackal look ridiculous. Like a big CGI blur or something. It would be impossible to properly capture the sheer impossibility of it. Perhaps if it's never actually shown...just a tendril wrapped around Ashley or something, like the tentacles from "The Mist" that killed the bag boy. Leave it up to the imagination. For some reason though, I picture it as a Morbolo from Final Fantasy, albeit sort of squiggly, like its flesh is wriggling. No clue where the image came from though. I love the ending. Sure, it's vague, but it's supposed to be. I'd like to think that he killed it at the cost of his own life...and that the ones who never crossed the gate made it out alive. The Jackal would gladly lie to fill the guy with despair. Maybe it makes them taste better. Like salting the meat, as Pennywise once put it.

MrCreepyPasta has such good emotion when he reads, and his voice fits the mood perfectly. Plus, he pauses at just the right time for a long enough time to have a good effect, and time for the listeners to process what is going on in the story. :)

Your narration skills are top notch. I swear as you speak I can envision everything in my head. The Jackal's voice still rings in my head booming and dark. It makes me wonder what happened afterwards? But we can leave it up to our imaginations.
