In Germany you can get a used one for 150€ (body) or 200€ with a kit lens.

The info was off, the sold listings you saw were mostly of broken g7’s. He should’ve filtered by working condition.

All the listing I showed were for used G7’s in working condition.

@@SeezSantos The only G7s I saw under $200 in the final clip showing sold listings, which were the first three, were listed as “Parts Only.”

The price is ok… but then i would rather go for the EOS RP and enjoy full frame glory and 1080p60 or cropped 4k 30 video

@@harrison00xXx Used EOS RP $700-$800 (EBAY) Proprietary Canon Glass:$1900-$2100 (ebay) Total cost: $2600-$2900 I understand where you're coming from and the benefits of a full frame and all the nuances. For some it's not feasible just yet so mid-tier cameras like the G7 or even a used sony A73 can run you less than the cost of an RP.

@@SeezSantos So you want to tell me usable full frame glass for a A73 is affordable? "Proprietary Canon Glass:$1900-$2100 (ebay)" no need for native glass, EF lenses are getting cheaper and cheaper.... I got recently a 100-400 II for under 900€ - Sure its still expensive but thats literally the "best" lens canon offers on EF mount with 100-400mm around. Also, for the 700-800$ there is often a RF 50 1.8 included, which is on the RP one of the best travel primes.

@@SeezSantos And you are pretty right, a 2nd hand RP is expensive, you dont pay much more for a new one thats why i got it brand new once (instead of a same priced but 2nd hand 6D Mk2!) But when you are looking whats the cheapest full frame entry with a new body instead of risky 2nd hand purchases with more or less modern features, you will land on the RP or the R if its within the budget. I didnt regret buying the RP like 1 1/2 years ago, very very good (stills....) camera and super light and tiny for full frame. I searched for some weeks, and since i owned already some useful full frame glass (only used on APS-C canons until that time) i just needed to get the RP. I sold it already, but only because i dont do much regular stuff anymore and i dont need wide angle or big sensor, all i want is actually after i found wildlife is the real thing i want to do - speed, autofocus and video features. So the pick was easy as i bought the EOS R7. Since the R7 impressed me that much and the RP was more or less only stored anymore i just sold it with only loosing about 200€. And some day, i will get a 2nd hand R5, R6 Mk2 or whatever.
