With the ever-growing rate of Genshin's roster, us players should be getting an increase in primogems over the course of the game...yet were not. And now with the new Chronicled Wish..things arent looking good.
Genshin does not aim towards casual players. Most of their revenue is from whales/dolphins. There *ARE* ways to get more primogems, welkin and the battle pass. The new banner is made to deal with the crowding of 5-star characters so whales/dolphins don't have to wait half a year to spend their primos.
True their revenue does come from whales and dolphins. But all of their updates are generally catered towards casuals. Like the new training guide, the artifact helper, and showcasing what leveling mats are needed. Whales will always spend money no matter what and Mihoyo knows that.
Lol when he means casual , he means the overall game. Most of the events including combat ones are dumbed down to a T. Even endgame is balanced around c0 units. Banners and other whale bait will always be there in gacha. There are even casual players who can spend boatloads on the game.
@@abhiss6705 The reason Mihoyo wasn't going the power creep route for enemies and characters is that story sold more characters and was better for reruns. If you can beat the game with anyone, then you have an incentive to spend money on whoever you like even if they get power crept. Arlecchino is going to affect the banner sales for all on-field dps, especially hu tao. Eula doesn't get reruns because she doesn't interact with the combat mechanics and is honestly pretty bad, and thus won't make a lot of money.
the only thing with the chronicled wish is that i want so many characters, so it really doesnt matter if i lose or win, i'll be happy. it's like how this banner, i want albedo, eula & mona. i'm going to select mona as the one i want, and hope if i lose i get albedo or eula.
The rewards in this game is really sad sometimes, I spent so much time digging for every Aranara- weeks of my time, only for 70ish primos. Not even a full wish.
I honestly feel like they should just double all the primo rewards. Events, quests, dailies, chests, Abyss, they should all give you twice as many primos. Whales are gonna whale either way, but this would make more casual players stick around for longer. And it's not as if they aren't making enough money, they're raking it in! But I guess that's the problem... It's never enough.
I had that thought...and then I saw the anniversary rewards so i just...gave up on that idea. Genshin brings in so much money that I know they can afford to up the primo rewards
It would still not be enough. That would still require over a dozen of chests for a single Debate Club. I believe that each common chest should have at least half of a pull.
Exactly, the rewards and the way of acquiring them is very stingly. Other gacha games just have stages and are balanced around the endgame. You invest and get good enough , you will have a consistent stream of primos/ whatever currency they use In genshin , there is no such expression of skill. So your kinda left dry and waiting ...forced to plough through quests making exploration feel like a chore.
I think having more chances to pull who/what we want is good. Many people complained that characters weren't coming back soon enough. So now we have this chance to get characters we want sooner. Also, I think it's good that we aren't just given primos for free all of the time or that they aren't easy to get. This is a game, we should be playing it. And one of the many motivations we could have to play is to get more primos so that we can pull who we want. Primos are a premium currency, a reward for playing and completing challenges. At least that's what they were designed as. I wish the hardest difficulties in events gave more primos. Not because I want to spite everyone who can't get them, but just so that we are motivated to play on these harder difficulties and it rewards to people who can complete the harder challenges. Most games are designed this way. It's weird that Genshin is not. The fate point system is stupid though.
Tbh spiral abyss isnt even about rewards for me at this point. It's just about finally fighting mobs that will get to survive at least 1 rotation. This was a good vid for u having 11 subs, I'm glad somebody shares this opinion on this topic. I remember being salty ever since double banner. As a counter argument tho, they release new characters at actually slower pace than they used to, so technically u get more time to save ig ??
Thank you! Honestly Id enjoy the spiral abyss more if I had the resources to build different teams especially a lot of the four stars. Yea you do get more time but they've also been releasing a lot of really good new characters too that are very enticing to pull for.
@@TheRambest actually that's not true, if you try to use the treasure compass in the wrong region it will say "not currently in *insert respective region*" but if you use the anemo compass in dragonspine it says "unable to use in Dragonspine"
I just want them to save the guarentee on these banners. Like I'm already 90 wishes in I'm not going to put in another 180 if I lose again on the next banner

I think adding more content instead of increasing daily commision primos is bad. That means people do much more every day. At first everyone will feel like "yeah we have more ways to get primogems" but after some weeks or maybe months I'm sure everyone will riot because they will realise that Mihoyo added one more chorus to our daily gameplay.
None of this is about the chronicled, this is just asking for more pulls because filling out your collection is getting harder. That's *never* been how mihoyo expects you to engage with the game, they've built all of their gacha games around *incomes* that give you roughly one 5-star character per patch. You are *never* intended to catch up (as nice as that would be) and expecting chronicled to fix that is just bad critique. The chronicled is just meant to give you more agency over which 5-star you ultimately receive, it is *flawed* but it absolutely is an improvement on what we had before.
"Filling out your collection is getting harder" I never said I wanted to get all the characters. And the entire topic was sparked because of the Chronicled Wish. Asking for more primos as the roster expands isnt a sin. The Players can play how they want after all.
The sad that is that this system could be great. It could be the greatest banner system in the game. Probable even one of the best in gacha history. However, like everything in this game, they decided to make it mid at best. The main they shouldn't have done was taking too much inspiration from the weapon banner.
yeah..pulling for eula right now. i dont think i even have a use for her, just liked the character but i regret it. farmed around 150 pulls for her the last two weeks and another 80 for yae miko which i couldnt get.. hope i at least win the 50/50 on kazuha after failing it on eula. i want to get her just so i can feel like all those pulls werent wasted for nothing
recommend to ignore some reruns. so more time to save for their next rerun. i agree with more rewards. im light spender and recently c6 r2 my itto... last patch i could had gotten c6 nahida probably would be the better choice but im geo main. i did 36 the last abyss without c6 itto. but with now c6 itto isn't strong as other hypercarry c2 powercrept. but c6 itto still able to clear abyss pretty decently. also this current abyss much harder than last abyss but with itto actually made it easier. i had plans to get kazhuha c0 and yelan c0 and nahida c6... i think i might not chase them anymore. and save for future unrealeased 5 star geo support and get their constellations :P i do have navia c0 with unforged, i don't like playing her but in floor 12 i managed to do 230k dmg shotgun and 3 seconds later after picking up a bit more ammo, did a 192k dmg dang for a c0 also have chiori c0 r1(i lost all my pity for her and weapon) i build her but not getting for constellation, don't like separate dmg and want a 5 star geo support. i know bennett and gorou pretty good buffers...but the problem is bennett ain't geo >:l so im sticking with only gorou and zhongli. im so picky...2 geo supports for itto charge attacks.
Yea I usually say If its not a "HELL YES" then its a no for me. I think C0 Itto should be more than capable of 36ing the abyss. Although i havent done this rotation yet he still does unga numbers. Kaz is a great benefit to everyone's account but hes not a must pull in my eyes. Yelan and Nahida tho very good. I have C6 Yelan mainly for my hu tao and C3 Nahida bcs here passives are just insane. But I much rather get cons of my favorite characters then to just pull for everything thats pretty. Especially with the future harbingers.
It's an open world game. . . How suppose to get primogems if don't explore Maybe should consider changing your time planning to play on free time on weekends 🤷
i think what would need to happen is like a ranked combat system similar to spiral abbyss kinda like a way to show off your character strength against other players
No. That's fucking useless. You're at the mercy of artifact rng or credits cards. Usually both. It's not a competition to see who has more luck. It's dumb.
