it was so cool and smart to have the real trevor make notes on things that his real self should be able to talk about. she actually thought through her character and what would be expected of him, unlike jack for instance who just chose a pretty girls picture and came unprepared to what that would intel
yes! and even in the quiz with the picture of the basketball players (something she couldn't have been able to put in her notes), she came through! she was READDYYYYY
I found it interesting that there was less emphasis on the player's photos this time. They only picked the one profile pic and a couple for a mini-game instead of periodically adding to their profile. I kinda missed that aspect; it gave each player a chance to show different sides of their personality and also get a broader read on their opponents.
I thought the same thing, I really missed that aspect!!! I also felt like terilisha chose pictures that looked nothing like her, which also hurt her game
the hashtags are what kill me, it's what makes it feel inauthentic/scripted to me at times. i know one of the contestants (forgetting who) made a tiktok saying the producers don't make them do the hashtags but like,,, there's no way netflix cast a group of people who all somehow still use hashtags that often and type that absurdly out of date? lmfao the whole season, i was just so distracted by how unnatural the way they type is and no one was sitting in their room making fun of the hashtags? not even one? like there's gotta be SOMEONE who would read some of those messages and be like what the actual hell did i just read hahahahhah
It’s not what they would use on their own social media, but it’s def part of the format of this show. It is pretty funny to see them reading “hashtag” all the time.

JACK, tbh even without the makeup challenge I think jack would have been found out shortly after. The way he played Emily was so passive and wishy washy in an effort to sound more feminine, as if women don’t have strong feelings or opinions 😂 I wanted to see him try to make some real moves!
i died when Khat and Mitch chatted with the group for the first time and after Emily wrote a message they cut to Khat and she goes "....that's a dude 😑" lmaoooo
I think he was doing good, but the things that ruined him was the makeup challenge but also the stupid fact that Courtney got a joker buff for no reason.
I was ready to hate Chloe when she was first introduced (probably because of S1’s Alana with her “skinny girls are pretty girls” bullshit), but I’m am SO happy to have been proven wrong about her. Chloe just seems like such a kind, genuine person (albeit not the brightest, but that’s okay).
I agree! She was like the Joey of season 2. I actually think she is much cleverer than she seems. Maybe not general knowledge, but social intelligence. She seemed very perceptive.

I'm sure it's a bit played up for the cameras, but i also have friends like that. i just wanted to sit her down and do the whole 'the dick will only drag you down!' presentation xD
definitely! I think that's why it was so effective compared to the random catfishes; also she still included so much of herself and her history so yes they were solid strategies
it would've been SO FUNNY if terilisha and savannah came back together instead. they also could've talked it out and stopped being catty af. jack and lisa were cute but they didn't really bring anything to the table as the old guy
I think part of the problem too tho was that Savannah had just been low key trashing on Trevor to the ladies right before, and Chloe stepped up to defend him, then Savannah chose to save Trevor so it was just kinda whiplash and confusing to Chloe

I thought the terilisha and savannah drama was so dumb, like Chloe WAS still saved so I don’t really see the issue in the first place, but also savannah could’ve just said that her and Trevor bonded over the single parent thing. I feel like terilisha would understand why she saved him if she said that🙃

when i first saw chloe i was like yikes she’s loud but then she became my favorite player 😭 like she was just so much fun to watch and she has such a good personality.
SPOILER I also appreciate what the producers did in both seasons. The potentially most hurtful reveals happened alone, so Shubham finding out that Rebecca was a catfish and Chloe finding out Trevor wasn't real happened at first when no other players were in the reveal room yet. On some shows contestants are exploited at any cost, but here I felt producers were being really considerate to their feelings.
I love that too, since they don't know how the person might react! They give them the chance to explain themselves without pressure and feeling like a dinner and a show for the other contestants.
I was SO HAPPY Deleesa won, I thought that she played the absolute best game (she had so many notes about being trevor, she connected with people about a bunch of different things that made her seem like a real person, and she still managed to use her own personality so that also made her seem more real), and she deserves the money the most!!! My girlfriend was literally so mad when Lee said that he just wanted the money for a pool lol when deleesa was planning for her family and their future. I was so happy for her, and had a ton of fun watching her, we were rooting for her from the beginning!
I think the biggest thing about Savannah saving Trevor other than the #girlgang was that in the girls GC she called put Trevor as potentially being a catfish so then it seems like a greater betrayal
yes that was like one of the reasons why savannah and terilisha had that big messy fight because they bonded and became friends at first when they both thought trevor was a catfish and then suddenly savannah saves trevor without the girls knowing and everything escalated from then on
I'M SO FREAKIN HAPPY ABOUT TREVOR AND DELEESA, I just think she was so sweet and I was so happy when she won, its not like she was my #1 through the season but I always liked her and it was a happy surprise to see her get that for her and her family, and to hear she's about to have another and they got their house makes my heart literally explode. Yes, literally.
Courtney basing his ENTIRE game strategy off what savannah told him and that had me salty. Savannah was shady and took what terilesha said the wrong way, so she wanted to make sure she didn’t win. It was all so petty. I’m so glad with who won
@@hpvamp246 they were all just playing the game, but his strategy was influenced by someone who didn’t know anything. If he was smarter i think he could have won.
@@MaejorArray i disagree, i think the alliance between him, Chloe, and River was his downfall. He didn’t even consider getting rid of them until the end. There was no doubt that Chloe would make it to the finale, he should have gotten her out earlier.
I love Courtney and I think he played the heck out of that game. Dare I say he made that season for me. Every person who he was gunning for eventually left but I think what caught him off guard was him not conversing much with other players and thus allowing them to get suspicious and tell others in time for the finale.
Deleesa made me so happy I just rlly enjoyed watching her play cus every time it came to rating she was like "awww River is so sweet I really like him... I don't know who to put in last because I like them all so much" like she just genuinely seemed to like everyone which was very sweet
The producers did him dirty showing that he wanted a pool after these heart wrenching stories of what the others would do with the $$$ but when I heard that I was like River you gotta GO

I don't think it should matter what the money is for. If this was about giving the money to someone who truly needs it, I don't think most, if any, of the contestants would even be there
Watching this video without watching either of the seasons is so wild and disorienting. Tiffany is giving me ‘your friend coming over and excitedly giving you in-depth plot line with zero context for hours’ vibes. In the best way possible and I love it!
i liked how they added in new parts of the game so it was still the same premise as the first season but with unexpected twists they wouldn’t expect after watching the first season
Hahahaha!!! Yes!!!! I loved when Khat and Mitchell clinked their glasses while Savannah and Terilisha were going at it while Bryant does freaking prayer hands ALL AT THE SAME TIME! It was the most comedy gold I've seen in awhile. I'm glad you also enjoyed that moment too hahahahha
I feel like Jack was SO unprepared for the game...like if you're going to go in as a girly sorority girl, do some prior research on obvious topics that will come up in conversation like make up.
Also, while I loved Chloe, I think Deleesa is a better winner for the future of the show. If only non-strategic but popular players kept winning, it would become increasingly predictable and boring. I hear the UK version has already been canceled as it is. I'm also not sure how they can fix this, but anyone who isn't an original player is at a huge disadvantage.
(⚠️SPOILERS⚠️) in my opinion, i like both seasons equally. i like the first season because the cast is charming & memorable. (plus joey won🥰) i like season two since it's way more dramatic and entertaining. (and Trevor won😎) so honestly it's based off if you prefer a charming, wholesome cast or entertaining, dramatic cast. all im gonna say was i was super interested on what's gonna happen after each episode of season two🤷🏽♂️
I liked the circle because it wasn’t as dramatic (as with the cast, not with the alerts,lol) and then season 2 came along and I was so annoyed by how dramatic it was and how rational the people acted. Should’ve known better after watching France and Brazil, but I had hopes for more of that American friendliness (not from the states, so I don’t know that much about y’all) 😆😆 I was like, we have love island, bachelor, etc etc, why another drama show 😅
Courtney wasn't trying to get rid of Chloe though. He was trying to break up the alliance (not the same thing as getting rid of someone) and actually get rid of Emily - so therefore talking in a way that people would think it was her. And it worked. People did think it was Emily (until much later anyways). Jack ended up being his own demise with the make up challenge anyways. But Courtney was brilliant with the game and no one else would probably have done anything near as smart as he did with the Joker powers.

I saw a comment saying that they didn't like the fact that he based his strategy on what Savannah said but... if someone came to you and told you that these people are gunning for you/acting fake wouldn't you gun for them. That's what every person in the circle does if a friend tells them some insider details.

This was my first season. My BFF got me hooked. It was quite enjoyable. My favs include Chloe, Khat, Mitchell, Trevor, and #TeamTerilisha. I feel as though she wasn’t given a shot a redemption. Mitchell is really nice to look at but that’s all there really was. I’m so happy Deleesa won. She was so put together and fun and her reason was so touching 🥰
Well I think Mitchell was more than being attractive. He was really funny and nice. Definitely someone I could be good friends with in real life. He saying that the blocked players would not be forgotten was super funny😂 . I really thought I was watching a marvel movie 😍😍that was a memorable moment that made me fall in love with him
i loved this SEASOOONNN i really enjoy this format for a reality show, i felt like this season everyone was likeable and even the people i didn't like were enjoyable to watch
the girlgang felt like a girlboss moment ☠️☠️ imo it was more like "oh cool hi girlies" and not like "i am now bounded to you all for the rest of the game" so i get why savannah acted that way

maybe it was just the edit, but to me, Bryant feels like that guy who takes acid like one time and then feels awakened to a higher sense of being because prior to that point he didn’t understand empathy.
Savannah/Terilisha conflict: Savannah said in a Tiktok comment that if she openly saved Chloe, it would have pretty much fully exposed the #GirlGang alliance. I feel like she should have said that to Terilisha though lol

I didn’t get the conflict tho about the blocking, first savannah isn’t sure about keeping Chloe which upsets Terilisha, but then Terilisha openly says, she’s sad to see Bryant go and puts the blame on Savannah, but wouldn’t that mean that Terilisha wanted to block Chloe?

I didn’t know how much I needed this walk-through to process my thoughts on the show! 😅 Also, I was literally wondering the whole time about the logistics of the circle, how they move around the building and how they get everyone to react and comment on the same topics all the time. Savanah even after leaving kept the lie that she was right.... and she claimed to be intelligent. And there is something that never makes sense. Why are always the stronger contestants in the finale? No ones takes advantage of the game to kick them out. If you want to win, as they all claim to, you need to get them out, otherwise, you won't win anyway.
The girl gang disaster didn’t make much sense at first till I remembered in the first Girl Gang Chat, Savannah was the first to bring up and discuss extensively that she thought Trevor was suspicious and potentially a catfish to the rest of the girls. Then when Savannah saved Trevor, to the rest of the girls it’s a massive slap in the face. Why would the one who was insistent earlier that day about Trevor being a catfish just suddenly save him. So that, plus the fact Savannah was hesitant / mentioned wanting to block Chloe threw Terilisha on the defensive, since now, to them, it seemed point blank obvious Savannah was trying to ruin the girl gang alliance. IMO Savannah could have easily saved her self + the alliance if she just 1. Told the girls ASAP that she chatted with Trevor and he was just like Chloe described and she was saving Chloe’s man. And 2. In the influencer chat, not to bring up Chloe and when Terilisha brought up Trevor explain to her that she knew the two of them would never block Chloe, so she went out of her way to protect chloe’s man. Instead she decides to pull a kamikaze and throw the entire alliance away and stew drama. I didn’t really like any of the girls, not really a team Terilisha after she stirred the pot too much but if anyone thinks Savannah was “smart” or acts like how Courtney simped for her then bye
Just a couple more things (😂)--I was taken aback to see how short Bryant when he was introduced at the reunion. Apparently, the concept of being strategic or a game-player as a bad thing or quality is more a thing in the UK. I'm not really sure why except that they don't have the same history of competitive reality shows that we do in the US. Chloe seems like the prototypical player that would be embraced by the UK audience. I didn't especially care for Courtney, but not because he was some mastermind. (I actually find him overrated in that department as if he was as amazing as he seems to think he is, he would have won. He also could have made a better effort to get in with players like Mitch, Khat, Lance, John, etc.) And speaking of Khat, it was odd how she completely imploded also, right after Jack did. She was doing swell, had just finished 2nd in the voting, and then ovef-confidentitis set in and she started over-playing big time. (Her game basically went to hell because she was convinced Chloe was lying about Emily coming to see her IIRC. Which, why do the players care who the blocked players went to visit so much? 😂Like to the point of blowing up their game? It's not that deep!) Anyway, I actually thought Khat was one of the most interesting players this season.
just finished the season and one of my favorite things was the dynamic between jack and lisa when they werw playing together. there was just something so funny about this middle aged woman and young dude being forced to live together and work together.
I just finished watching the show. I didn't expect to love it as much as I did! Courtney and Trevor played such a strong game from the beginning I knew one of them would win. I was so happy to see Delessa win in the end. She really deserved it and seems like such a loving mom ❤
[spoiler] I was so happy that Lee/River didn't win because he would have used the money for a pool.. Atleast to me that seems like uhmm a little selfish when thinking about Courtney and Chloe's use of the money. Like I really enjoyed Lee and thought he was a funny person and stuff, but happy he didn't go win it all by being the one the most people agreed on.

It really bothered me when Lee made up a good story for what he'd do with the money and then said he just wants a pool. Obviously whoever wins in the end can do whatever they want with the money, but I don't think sad-fishing was the right move.
you've gotta watch the Circle France!! i just thought it was superior in every way and really interesting with its ups and downs (also i think the Circle works better when people don't really know what it is and what's going on so their actions are very human if that makes sense?)

I'm still not sure it made sense to block Terilisha so early simply because she had no one and wasn't a threat. No one liked or trusted her. Also, you could have cut the tension between them at the reunion with a knife. I actually felt Savanah was being bitchier and seems like a girl who is very full of herself to be honest.

i wonder what they’ll do in the future to switch things up because people sorta know how everything works and what strategies to use now that the two seasons are out
I want them to run two different circles at once (each circle not knowing about the other), without adding in new people as players get blocked. Then when each circle is down to half their players, the circles get merged and become one circle with everyone. Its a dumb idea and would be so chaotic for viewers to watch, but it would be a shock for the players and would even out the playing field since original players always stick up for each other and new additions never stand a chance.
IMO Deleesa is the *best* player and it was such a well-deserved win. Courtney got lucky with the Joker because Savannah wants him to win, but Trevor could've gotten that spot as well because pretty sure he's Savannah's second!! Also, Khat is SHARP and I wish she made it to the end.
I loved every single finalist which really made me sit on the edge of my seat when the winner was announced :0 But during the entire show, I grew to love Courtney and Lee aka River the most :)
I wanted to like them but I hated Courtneys attitude toward Khat and Terilisha even Chloe, then he turns around and gets in an "alliance" with her....which in all actuality he played the game very well, but it just seems like he took what Savannah said too literally.
I know you can’t talk about this (well you could but u won’t cause u know it’s not ur place) but there was a lot of discourse online about Courtney and how he treated the black women on the show, how he presented a lot of misogynoir and went hard for non black women and was quick to turn on black women, and also people sharing experiences of Savannah being racist
When I heard all the sad stories of how much the money would mean to most everyone, and then Lee/River is like "I want to get a pool" ... he already pissed me off by being a ghost writer as a gay man pretending to be a woman and obviously making enough money to only care about expanding his house with a pool... I was so glad when he was in the bottom at the last vote.
A) congrats on your engagement!! And b) you will really love The Circle: France if you want another season right away but don’t mind subtitles. The catfish reveal between a “couple” at the end is 100x better than Chloe & “Trevor” (and is shocking devoid of the gay panic I was worried would come.)
I liked this season more than season one. I feel like season one they where just getting their footing. I feel like this season was really thought out with the games and the twist . This season we got to know everyone more. I loved Trevor (DeLeesa), Chole and River (Lee) from day one lol.
Also, if you love the behind the scenes of reality TV, you should watch Whitney Port & her husband Timmy’s (he was a producer on the city) reactions to the Hills!! It’s hilarious and there are also sprinkles of reality TV production tidbits
