We are to the end of another month so it is time to what 2 Loud 2 Old Music added to the collection this month. We hit up our favorite local shop, Noble Records, several times this month. We even hit up a local record store in Florida while on Vacation. I also ordered some new releases from Amazon and bought a few things off Discogs including one I'd been wanting a while. If you like Kiss, Bon Jovi, Kix, Badlands and Billy Idol, then it is a must see. If not, you should still see all that is in store. We have cassettes, CDs and Vinyl for you as well as a DVD and a brand new book from Tim Durling. Enjoy!!!

Hi John...great haul ! I also picked up the Rik Emmett and Bon Jovi vinyl and cds. The Rik Emmett cd comes with 2 extra tracks that I wish they would have put on the vinyl too . I'm really liking the Bon Jovi. One of his better ones in a while. Tim's book is fantastic ! It was great to be part of it. That Kiss Alive cd box is great ! I play it quite often. Wow Badlands and Kix vinyl ! Fantastic ! I also picked up the Poison Native Tongue on vinyl. It sounds great ! Thank you John. Chez

Hey Chez! You and I have very similar taste in music. I need the Rik CD now for those two tracks. I have to admit I don’t hate the new Bon Jovi album. Need more listens but not bad. Tim’s book is great. I haven’t finished it yet. Thanks for watching.

Great episode John. That is absolutely the debut Journey album, and I think it's fantastic. You actually have me curious about a Bon Jovi album for the first time in...ah, forever? I need to get that Native Tongue vinyl. Great finds. And thank you very much for your kind words about the Kansas book, not to mention, thank you for taking part.

Thanks Tim! I have been enjoying the early Journey. So different, but so good. And great pun!! The Bon Jovi album is not as bad as I was expecting...but don't take that as I am saying it is good yet until I do the review. LOL!!

You can't have my Journey one, sorry!! As far as the Kiss CDs, I never bought the comps, but when I started collecting again, I was focused on vinyl. Now that is pretty much complete, my focus is the CDs and cassettes now. Thanks for watching.

@@2loud2oldmusic There are a ton of CD comps... The Best Of Kiss (Green Series) (2008), Playlist Your Way (2008), Legends of Rock (2009), Superstar Series (2009) (All on Universal) None worth playing!

@@GrabAStackofRocK We should do a Kiss Comp show!! The ones you mentioned I still don't have (The Playlist Your Way is basically the 20th Century Master 3 Volume set, I believe - which I have all 3 of those).

Wow, you really lucked out in the vinyl department for June! You have to wonder, though, what Poison would've been like if Richie Kotzen stayed in the band.

Hi John. Nice haul. I agree that KISS Gold is absolutely one the best, if not the best, KISS compilations available. I may have to pick up Poison - Native Tongue on vinyl. I currently don't have any Poison on vinyl. Kix - Blow My Fuse is so good. Last month I picked up the album Streets - 1st (with Steve Walsh on vocals) at a record and CD festival in Jacksonville, FL. Now, I'm back on a Kansas kick again, so I will have to pick up Tim's book soon.

Thanks so much. Glad you agree on that Kiss Gold. I think we are right. Don't know Streets so will look that one up. Kansas is a great band to be on a kick again!! Despite being in it, I haven't finished the book yet. Don't tell Tim!! Shhh...But love it so far. Thanks for watching.
