The Comedy Company - Christmas Special (1989) 

I wasn't allowed to watch the comedy company as a child ... love this!

What a great time 1988 was, it was the emerging of great shows, tv, sketch comedy and even great/interesting televsion ads as well. Mother & Son were the prequels including the 11th Hour on ABC via 1984/85 here. But The Comedy Company really brought into mainstream into our lounge rooms and how glorious it was. Uncle Arthur was a fav of mine and melbourne was once a comedy state. Then Fast/Full Frontal took over into the late 90's. Melbourne had a very brief but an incredibly memorable comedy run sigh...Now we have nothing cept The Project and boy we really messed up sigh...

I wish they showed reruns of this show, as there is nothing good on TV these days.
