Golddust.....I forgot how insane Dustin was with that when it first debuted... Cool to see Conan giving love to wrestling before the boom period kicked back in.
She was one of the most down to earth, sweetest people you could ever meet. She friended me on Twitter and we talked for a little bit not six months before she passed away. She was doing very well in Japan, teaching English, and then decided to come back to the states to wrestle again, and truthfully, in the back of my mind, I knew it was a bad idea. Because the business can bring out Old habits and unfortunately it did. I don’t think she meant to hurt herself, I think she more than likely forgot that she took her medication and double dosed, and just never woke up. Which was a shame, because I think all she really needed was someone to talk to and to be a friend. Because seemingly, everybody turned their back on her because of alliances with other people, and it left her essentially alone in the world. Her mom and her sister was all she really had left. Who, I think her sister, keeps her memory alive by continuously, posting about her on her Twitter page. Which is nice. Again, horrible shame, because she was a sweet girl, and deserves better. I wish I could’ve got to know her better myself. But I am grateful for the time I got to talk to her, what little I did.

Poor chyna really trying to put her voice up higher pitch I thought she was beautiful and sexy during her final years she looked fit but jot muscular and more relaxed Rip
Pretty funny Conan asks The Rock about his daughter and if he thinks she'll get into wrestling and today his daughter is a wrestler, he saw that coming.
Pretty sure one of the security guys in the Gold Dust clip is the dad from Pete & Pete. I expect that's a strange reference to make in a wrestling themed video, but I can't help but wonder.
Listen to Conan immediately after he intros Vince McMahon. He says, "let's get this over with" he had seen other interviews where Vince almost fist fights them over certain questions. If you watch enough Conan stuff you can tell he really doesn't like Vince for some reason.
Guessing Vince was very difficult/controlling during the pre-interview process, probably involved when other wrestlers were on the show as well. The worst type of megalomaniacal narcissist. Conan probably smelled the bullshit on him immediately.
That’s why physical media is dope. Still have that episode. Edit: RU-vid’s annoying auto play started the next video while I was typing a comment so it went to the wrong video.
I love how wrestlers used to be in character in public. Now, that illusion is gone thanks to social media and the Internet. You got Sheamus feuding Karrion Kross for example on screen and then see them work out together on his RU-vid channel.
U know when u see a bigger wrestler jump off the top rope, u will always (allllmost always) see the wrestler on the mat , just before impact, brace for the impact. Its just natural. NOT MAE YOUNG, that champ didn't move an inch and that was a huge man jumping on her! Those ladies were great! RIP!
These two were really a class act. Funny, because Yoko is not even Japanese. He is Samoan. Speaks perfect English. But so many of his fellow wrestlers said nothing but nice things about him. Including how safe he was in the ring with him. He never hurt anyone.
As an attitude era kid and Conan fan for life, do you have any idea how much time I would waste searching for individual Conan wrestling interviews? Ridiculous amount of time. Now, excuse me while I sit down and watch 2 1/2 hours in one video with no time wasted and thank you.
Wrestlers have always never shown thwir true political colors because they knew back then they would alienate half their fans and thats been a no no in the wrestling world since day one
