Hey, I'm Sophie!
I'm an abstract artist, creative coach, and mental health educator. But I never meant to be any of these things.
In my 20s, I had a successful corporate career in the IT space and built a social enterprise in the food space, which got me on a TEDx stage and on the Forbes 30 under 30 list.
I started struggling with depression in college, but after several traumatic experiences, my mental health started deteriorating rapidly around 2015.
In the summer of 2021, I hit rock bottom and spent months in a state of suicidal depression. Soon after, I was diagnosed with bipolar disorder type 2 and borderline personality disorder after struggling without proper care for over a decade.
I spent the last year of my life recovering from my suicidal depression, which made me unable to support myself financially.
Now I'm back on my feet, making bold art, having meaningful conversations about complex subjects, such as mental health, and facilitating empowering workshops for building self0care practices and developing healthy stress management skills through creative play.
But I need financial support until I get back on my feet. I need to cover my living expenses, so I can focus on slowly becoming independent again.
