When you watch the conjuring 2 you will find out why Lorraine locked herself in their room for 8 days. Also fun fact when Carolin goes to see Ed and Lorraine at the college the real Lorraine Warren was sitting in the front row as she was a big part of all the conjuring movies up until her death.

The actress who plays the Mom in the family is Lili Taylor, she’s been in soooo many amazing films. She plays more “character actor” type roles, but one she starred in with River Phoenix is soooo good!! They are the main characters and it’s just a beautiful film. It’s also not a big name film and it’s harder to find a copy, but it’s so worth it. The movie is called “Dogfight”. Anyone else see it or remember it?

All the movies in The Conjuring universe (including Annabelle and The Nun) are based on the work of Ed and Lorraine Warren, paranormal invesigators from New England from the 1960s-1980s. Their house is now a museum detailing all the cases they worked and the cursed artifacts they removed.

About the kids not seeming to hear all the commotion of the pictures falling and the mom is kind of explained by the actual family that lived there. @MaryCherryOfficial : After hearing your intro, and how you talked about how this movie has been on your "list" for three years, and it made me think about something. Have you watched 'Deliverance' on the channel? I've never seen it myself, but I know it's an older film from the 70's, I think, and that it's supposed to be quite gruesome, but not a typical horror movie, per se. So it would be cool if you could watch it before "Spooktober" ends, and I could get an impression of it too, as I haven't seen it, either.

Imo they are the best werewolf films ever made, I don't get scared easily at all - I typically find myself laughing during horror films - but these two movies left me truly on the edge of my seat and frightened. They are older movies so the "transformation" scenes by today's standards may seem corny but the films are fantastically directed and will give you nightmares 😂. Gotta love the guts of watching horror movies at home, alone. All of the movies in the Conjuring universe are good and worth watching in order. For a little extra Halloween fun I'd like to recommend some seldom seen but effective chillers. The Legend of Hell House (1973),The Babadook (2014), The Haunting (1999, and also starring Lili Taylor, the mom in this movie), and Mirrors (2008). Plenty of nights before Halloween. Have fun.

If you allow yourself to be bothered by no survivors in horror movies you will for the most part aways ruin the experience for yourself. Horror movies rarely have satisfying endings when it comes to that

I would invite the ghost to a cup of coffee or tea and a nice piece of cake and ask him about the weather. ,D
