You guys should call any special pieces like this that you make Wyrmwood Artifacts, since they're unique and powerful

I would think something so powerful would need to be forged in the fires of mount doom, but this works too.

We live in a day and age where creating a Dungeon Master screen for a nerdy-ass voice actor warrants an artisanal video. Never stop being awesome, Wyrmwood!

*Looking at this* Me: "I use Detect Magic!" DM: "You are blinded and stunned!"

Blood was literally shed to make that screen.. somehow that seems appropriate :) Lovely work :)

... That moment of oil varnish soaking in and wood grain emerging like some kind of runic sigil is the IRL equivalent of watching an arcane enchanter at their craft, M8. >):^D

What they left out of the video with Matt is the cast (I think Sam) saying "Oh, so that is just for tonight" and Matt saying "NO, this is staying with me forever!" with the conviction of a man that wants it to be buried with him.

Oh wow, the HDYWTDT is actually made of crushed Jet? That's rad as hell, I thought it looked neat but I wouldnt have guessed it was made from gemstone.

This is totally mesmerizing.

I've just had a bittersweet realization. One day this screen, and that table, and maybe even a few of their dice sets will be in a museum. Maybe long after we fans are gone.

My players gifted me a Black Walnut Wyrmwood Dice tray tonight for our 50th campaign session! Quality work from passionate craftsmen, Matt (and myself) are very lucky DMs!

....oh, so THATS why its so expensive. Damn, that's craftsmanship. Bravo!

Wow, things like that just can't be mass produced. The care and detail going into this screen is immaculate! I often watch videos of folks making things out of metal and wood but never has the result been so rewarding and awesome!

Every time this pops up in my YT Recommendations, I rewatch it. And every time I sit in awe of Jason's work on that magnificent piece of woodworking.

I think my favorite part of every one of these craftsman videos is when the varnish gets put on the wood and it gets darker and shiny and just a beautiful finalized piece.

Just came here from CR producer Max's twitter. Even this video is artisan-level craft. God damn! And those brown oak veneers... positively gushing over here. Now I'm day dreaming about a bass guitar from those woods - dark wenge body and neck, brown oak fingerboard as contrast... Not sure practical that is, sure wood look tight though.

Wtf, I teared up looking at the finished product. How did it compel that reaction from me? That was beautifully done and such an awesome work of art. It is Overwhelming just comprehending this process and appreciating how much you all care about your quality and work. Hats off to you. I come from a long line of master carpenters and instead of following the family trade, I enlisted in the military right after 9/11. I spend my days now admiring and appreciating my dad and grandfather in their workshop at his home. Thanks for sharing this.
