I love the footage of the design process and workflow instead of just copying the staircase design plans that are already online on woodworking forums and 3D print pages. I mean, it is still a similar end product but we get to see the shop creative process almost live.

As a DM and hoarder of minis, what I need is a box that can hold foam trays. I use the Gameplus trays. That are pretty awesome and modular (this seems like RIGHT up y'all's alley). They make fabric bags to tote these around but they're not pretty to look at. I would love love LOVE a beautiful box that opens from the front (like their canvas bags). Would be cool to have a beautiful veneer like bird's eye maple on the front. I've thought about trying to make something like this but I can't quite solve the hinge. Unlike top opening boxes it really needs a front loading opening because otherwise it's hard to get a bunch of trays out. It's a hard design challenge and hoping you guys are up to it! DM me if you want a sketch.

You know, if you put a band around the top of each modular piece, including the base, that sat up higher than the edge of the section, it would hide the lines where the pieces join up. You could do different looks for different classes. Hefty iron for dwarves, light scroll work for elves, etc.

Okay, I have an idea. Hear me out. I've hoped for a long time that you'd develop a table accessory where you can connect a tabletop tile (or several) to the table's magnetic rail. But you could kill two birds with one stone if this hex tower also had magnets to connect it with the tabletop tiles system, assuming it could be the same dimensions. Then you can put the hex tower in facing different directions by re-orienting the hex, but the same table accessory would allow you to insert whatever tabletop tile you wanted. Additionally, this means the hex tower would click into a set of tabletop tiles. Sure, you wouldn't be able to smoothly rotate the tower, but I think this would provide more options with fewer SKUs. Just a thought.

Love the creation/design videos! Was I the only one thinking about the geometry and math of it all when he was trying to get the angles right to propel the dice out of the tower? My brain stopped being able to math when the numbers turned into letters in school so the whole time I was watching I kept thinking "If I only knew how to make letter math work I'd know how/why the different angles worked!" Who knew you'd actually use that type of math after high school. Awesome video!
