In the ‘90s, Dolores O’Riordan’s life was like a tornado. Cranberries’ debut studio album, “Everybody Else Is Doing It, Why Can’t We?” (1993), launched them to stardom, which meant leaving Ireland and going on tour. While on the road, the band crafted material for their next album, “No Need To Argue” (1994). That’s when O’Riordan came up with the song “Ridiculous Thoughts” (1994), where she questions her own thoughts. She recalled : “I remember feeling a bit like an object at times. The success was so big and there were so many expectations and demands from all sides - from the label and from everybody. I remember feeling under a lot of pressure when I wrote that.” FAME CAN BE A BLESSING AS WELL AS A CURSE‼️ 💙🌪️💜 May you rest in peace, Dolores Mary Eileen O’Riordan (1971 - 2018)… 🌹

I'm a metalhead 100%. My favorite bands are Kreator and Death (R.I.P Chuck), but I will always be in love with Dolores O'Riordan. Her unmistakable voice and barefoot performances are awesome. The Cranberries rock!
Oh this takes me back......25 years. At the time I thought no album would ever beat their first, but looking back, this one was probably their best! God I miss the 90’s.
Who ever coined the phrase "poetry in motion" most of had Dolores in mind. All that makeup, the black hair, and that red rubber dress! Only Dolores could make that work and work masterfully. One in a billion!

Rip Dolores O.
Dunno why the band hated this version of the video......................I think it's very well-directed and just as good as the other one! Actually, this caused them to have a falling out with Samuel Bayer (the director) and they never worked together again--and he directed their videos for Ode To My Family, I Can't Be With You and Zombie--they seemed content with the outcome of those! Have no idea what went wrong here, but Bayer did fine in my book!
Eliza wood acting perfect and the lyrics perfect.. its about betray she felt being with a horrible man .. but this song also portrays mental health dilemma we can see through also eliza wood character but my all time fav cranberries song.. not only its cool but the lyrics I related with many levels
I remember the sheer hate the U.K music press had for The Cranberries - NME, Melody Maker in particular consistently ragged on - brazen coded anti-irish sentiments that made my stomach turn and most of all, every interview with Dolores tried to use anorexia as a slur and determined to question her sanity. Thankfully the band had gotten so big by then that they didn't reply on those rags to sell tickets or records.
