Jacob I really, really appreciate how well you speak when doing this Vegas news. Your clear and precise enounciation is always perfect so people are not left wondering “did he say eighty or eighteen?”. You probably don’t realize even TV news people sometimes get sloppy in how they speak and one has to rewind to listen to it again because they slur. You have it mastered! Thank you for that. And thank you for rounding up all the news. I love this segment of your Vegas news updates. You put a lot of work into the format you took your channel in. It’s great!
🗞📰The BEST Las Vegas reporter reporting with the latest! The clearest most concise reporting of them all with the best visuals...Jacob! I remember seeing Greta in the Las Vegas Review Journal posing at the Durango site. That was the previous summer. I would never know Fontainebleau is a hotel/casino from the outside as it looks like an office building to me. Always look forward to Jacob's monthly updates! Great job as usual Jacob!! 📰🗞
@@drcollumdcHelloooo! I had lots of fam & friends over but had lots of help so it wasn't tiring. Just loud & a bit wild! How was yours? Hope all's well with you!
Fontainebleau LV is 'blue' Bob SquarePants blob that looks suited to Austin TX, San Jose or Sactown CA, judging book (2014 initial opening) by its ugly cover. 2nd largest casino.
That's what I'm saying all these casinos are so f*cking ugly especially the Fontainebleau it is so hideous and the interior is so bland and uninteresting it's just amazing how terrible Vegas has become
Jacob! Once again - phenomenally great presentation! You rock with keeping us updated with what’s going on in LV in a precise, nugget format. I just can’t wait to get to town after two previous aborted attempts during 2023..yet unhappy to see I’ll miss the last live performances at Venetian by just 10 days. Man - Mirage had better make sure the volcano is active by 12/18…or my annoyance level will be major. Perhaps TMI…but …I consider you and your viewers my friends and can’t help but share!!💕
Hope to see you next week Jacob! I'll be in town for the MJ BizCon trade show at the Convention Center. I watch your channel all year just for this week. Thanks for your service and great content! HUA!
Thanks, Jacob…hope you have a great holiday season. Maybe I’ll get lucky enough to run into you on my trip beginning Christmas Day. Rosa Mexicans is a great spot in NYC. Looking forward to seeing Sahara’s new poker room and eating at Mother Wolf in Fontainebleau.
I remember that wet n wild water park, i was 12 years old at the time, 1983, stayed across the street from it at the paddle wheel with my parents obviously. Both places now long gone, I went back to Vegas a few other times as adult. 1998 and 2018, all times it felt as if the strip and all hotels had changed since then. 1998 was the best, hotels, food, experience very in-expensive then.. and I was over 21.
Best by far update. I've been following you for a minute or two... I mean years. This was engaging and well done. Thank you for the update. Great job!!@
The guy who won the Formula 1 race in Las Vegas, won today in Abu Dhabi, he has won 19 of the 23 races that took place during the year, that is really a record, he is only 26 years old and his fortune already exceeds $150 million.
wow i went to that wet and wild back in the 90s such a good time in Vegas.... I also stayed at the Westward Ho old school Hotel good times those places are gone a little piece of History....
Love the channel! Do you have any plans to do more reviews of Downtown properties? Fremont just underwent a major renovation, and I'd love to hear your take. You always give a very fair and balanced review in your videos. Thanks in advance!
I know the perfect location for the neon museum - right next to the Pinball Hall of Fame museum. There's a vacant lot and it's right near the Welcome to Las Vegas sign.
I hope the new owners of the Rainbow and Emerald Island put in better ventilation systems. I love going there but smell like a dirty ashtray when leaving. So smokey, but still a fun place to go to.
Hey Jacob! I'll be visiting next week for my bday weekend, 😁, how much of the strip will be back to "normal", post F1 event? Are stands, fixtures, etc., being broken down at all?
Btw. The one local rumor I’ve heard about the neon museum’s new new location is it might actually be part of the new Ballys Sports hotel and casino/A’s stadium
Another FREE attraction closing in Vegas Vegas management hates FREE. 20 years ago there were a number of good free shows on the Strip Now only the water spouts at the Bellagio is still free.
I guess they figured out people still show up even when you have nothing for free. That includes parking. They don't want the value conscious customer anyway. Only folks that are willing to spring for $80 buffets and $500 show tickets for the sphere.
Over the last year every time I mention to anyone about going to Vegas, everyone says don’t use the safe in the room. Saying the maids and staff know how to get in there. If that’s such common knowledge, why aren’t the hotels doing anything about it?
This is wild to see soooo many new properties get started only to flounder. You would think that lenders would be wary or have contracts stating you better do something or Im selling it to someone who will. If its not built its not cash flowing. I hope you get to review the FontaineBleu.
Jacob, Please give us an update on the F1 clean up efforts. How long will it take to cart off all that infrastructure?? Thanks! David, wanting to come back to Vegas.
One thing I have to ask you about, what is with the Nevada Beverage Tax? So you buy a drink and the drink costs $5 then they tax you $5 as well so the drink actually costs $10?! What on earth is that about?
What are they building outside the grand bazaar shops? I was there in April and it was just a big hole in the ground and I was just there again recently and it was a huge building now
