I've seen these guys perform dozens of times and NEVER did I walk away without being in awe of the depth, integrity and technical ferocity.

Since 1987 I have loved NoMeansNo. One of the most under appreciated bands ever. You could grab the high hat from the audience. Every album sincere. Greetings from NS.

Truly the most underrated band in the world! Whenever I'm looking for music that I want to listen to, I end up finding myself on the couch listening to NoMeansNo.

I was born in Vic and had the pleasure to see great music, with opening bands as a huge bonus, introduction. Miss seeing live shows, presently live an hour away from Vancouver.

Just got home now from an incredible Dead Bob show!!! John still sounds as great as he did in 1988 when I was 16 years old. I highly recommend checking out the new album

Thank you, they will be missed! John Wright's new band is called Dead Bob. You should check them out. This video was during the pandemic and created from isolation and RU-vid.

Oh, this is just beautiful. This is clearly someone who felt what I did and Jello Biafra did which is why he put them on his label. There's very few times in your life that you hear a sound like I did the first time I heard nomeansno, and you just pause and go, ..what...is...this? Those who know, we know, and we are lucky to know the nomeansno.

In my mind one of the all time greatest bands ever. And Rob John and Tom are really super nice guys on top of being highly intelligent and talented musicians

I’m really bummed I missed the Wrong tour with Alice Donut. Man that would have been something amazing. Later got to see both bands several times on different tours but those 2 together would have been an absolute killer. ❤

What year was this tour? i saw that bill- one of the greatest shows i have seen. Nomeansno is one of my favorite bands of all time, and i wish i saw them more than that one time. i'm glad they're getting their due respect.

I'm glad the description was "one of the" greatest Canadian bands, I'd also put Rush and Voivod in there too. :) I only got to see them play live twice back in the 90's, but I'm really grateful for that, such amazing and memorable gigs, thanks for putting this together.

@@hypergrrl5643 Just out of interest, which was your favourite Voivod Album? Personally I find it hard to decide between Dimension Hatross and Nothingface, strangely enough I disliked both of those albums on first listen because I was really in to HC punk and thrash at the time, but they are both in my top 10 all-time albums now. :)

@@gavinbuck8130 That's a tough question. I'll just lump my favorites into one: Killing Technology, Dimension Hatross, Nothingface, Angel Rat, The Outer Limits, Infini, Target Earth, Synchro Anarchy. I'm hoping to catch them live again soon.

Ive seen them in Poland in mid 90s, in Stodola club. Best live squad I ever watched and listened. After few hours playing NMN stuff, they just start playing Hanson Brothers tunes, some with 2 sets of drum kit 😂😂 Amazing

in love with NMN since early 90ies, when ruzbeh oweyssi played them for the first time on our local rock radio. i ran then to CD rental store (that was a thing in czechoslovakia in that time) to get everything they had. they motivated me to start to play bass, although i failed in that one spectacularly ;)

I discovered them at university in late 1990 when a friend told me about them. The best band ever to come out of Victoria, B.C. LOL. Saw them live at a brief 40 something minute outdoor concert in down town Vancouver. Man they we're great live. Unfortunately with the noise complaints from surrounding apartments they had to shut it down early. Still a great memory!

Very nice compact overview of a lifetime of passion, dedication and love for honest, mindbending, awesome music in true d.i.y spirit. Discovered them somewhere in 87 with the Sex Mad album, got blown away, saw them live the next year, followed them ever since. Must have seen them more than a dozen times and had the honor to play their and some of their side projects support 5 or 6 times. Only in the underground heroes become friends and vice versa. Same thing happened with the guys from Victim's Family. A few months ago i hooked up Tom at my place in Antwerp. Love those guys. Only goal left is visit them back in Canada one day.

Loved NMN since 1987. Overall a great video, but dubbing studio tracks over live footage... I dunno, I feel like we fans deserve better. =P EDIT: Nevermind, I hadn't seen the note re: copyright + all the links you provided. Cheers!
