The viral leap desperately needs to be reworked, too often do virals defy the laws of physics and do impossible jumps. Sometimes they literally wrap around physical objects mid air just to jump on me, it's insanely fucking annoying and boring.

New zombies look better BUT they still should include some old, more decayed ones.

The viral leap and also I have had the generators die way too fast in survivor missions Those are my two biggest gripes right now

The darker nights filter plus some tweaking in the gamma settings makes the night's darkness realistic. With few artificial lights and only the moon you will not see anything in the shade from more than a couple meters away. That filter also fixes the flashlight problem somewhat.

Something I would love techland to improve is the way the weapon mods look because the current state is just lazy copy and pasted pieces of scrap on different weapons. Unlike the first game, where the mods looked different depending on what type of weapon it's on.

Don't forget, you can pause game, change Time An Date, with out losing any progress.. an continue with the challenges with out waiting 🙌

One thing I think would be a good addition well more like a change would be outfits having physics with the cloth and other trinkets similar to how npc’s have those kinds of physics and how Aiden’s outfit had some of those physics in the e3 demo, yes I know it’s probably gonna take a while for them to do it since it’s a whole bunch of outfits they’d have to add those physics along with the bugs that would come with it but if techland can change the zombie models, add new interiors, new foliage, etc then I have faith they can do that for outfits

Another bug I've realized when it comes to co-op is when I play with my friend in his save. I sometimes can't see all the fast travels he has unlocked

I think what they need, probably in the next dlc map is more real locations, like the renegade base past the water and car dealer. Right now it's just one floor of copy pasted assets. even the dark hollows and stores are either a clothing store or tech store with the same models

They really need to fix the viral jump attack, it’s not only so bugged, but so annoying to fight against because you can dodge, but then they’ll turn 180 degrees in midair so that’s cool! 👍🏻

My biggest Peeve right now, is parkour shooting.. 1 of my #1 strategies for the fact it slows time... but now when you jump you float on enemies an get stuck 90% of the time..

I have a lot of problems with performance on PC. I am forced to lower the graphics so that the FPS is stable, which is frustrating because my PC is capable of running the game at ultra and ray tracing but it is horrible. It is clear that the game was "deoptimized" due to everything they improved, corrected and added in this update and also the game crashes from time to time, not always but it happens and it is random, I mean, it does not crash in specific places. I hope they fix it because I don't even want to play in those conditions

I feel like Techland needs to focus on small details from now on like fixing flashlight, dynamic skybox, more improvement to physics and sound effects (Especially dismemberment sfx) also fixing some parkour stuff like adding close ledge grab as you can see In E3 aiden preparing himself to hold the ledge and some zombies should've looked old tbh E3 zombies had perfect design they looked too old and realistic.

Better hud, or atleast the option to remove it completely. Remove the viral leap thing, and make the elevator in the VNC tower go faster, those are my only problems right now.

I just started playing the game for the very first time and its veen fun

just got this game on steam to play with friends, i heard the first game was great and ive heard this game was cool even before the update so i think ill have fun, it was only 23 bucks on sale👌

they should have kept a couple of the old zombies and modified them to fit the art style change, just cause it does feel weird having little to no old looking zombies after 15 years.

I believe Techland's C-Engine is a very versatile game engine so if possible, the devs should play some other games, observe its 3rd person animations and try to incorporate them into their game. Left 4 Dead or Battlefield for running, melee, shooting and interaction animations, Spider-Man PS4, Just Cause or Arkham Knight for grappling hook and paragliding animations, and Assassin's Creed Unity for parkour animations.

What would make the guns enjoyable is if we have silencers for at least the pistols and/or military rifles. Because what makes them difficult to enjoy is the fact they cause too much noise and numerous virals appear, leaving you wide open. This is why I prefer to use crossbows and bows. Furthermore, every time I played Dying Light 1, I always used the Volkan Combat Rifle because it has a built-in silencer. Also, when you use other guns, usually only one or two virals show up. So you can enjoy shooting for a bit longer.

I think enimies with guns should show up, even if in specific locations, OR better yet as an option you can toggle to run into them anywhere. And if not that, AT LEAST they should wxist for community maps, Parkhurst plus 2 sided gunfights were awsome. They also definitely need to fix BOTH the viral leaping, as it unfairly gets players killed alot expecially in genorator missions, however they also need to fix the toxic and electric enimies, as they hurt you through walls sometimes and for a decent distance, meaning you could be stuck indoors with an electric zombie going off in the other room, and not be able to do anything but take mandatory damage. Lastly is the problem of getting stuck on zombies heads, it's a parking game and running in zombies heads was in dying light 2, so why does this Parkhurst game get us stuck on top of zombies models unable to knock them over or fall off, while the zombies runs around flailing there arms hurting us as we desperately try to disconnect the magnet that has activated between our feet and the zombies head

Im so glad i didnt listen to the haters and decided to pick this up after the newest update. Which i think was the best time for me to get it. 70h in, did two playthroughs, just finished Bloody Ties and i had lots of fun with everything. Sure i had some frustrating moments, mainly with the night time which i think is a bit too annoying. Too many roaming volatiles but other than that it was smooth sailing. An 8/10 game for me.

When are the hardware stores going to be restocked, still no scrap on the shelves and counters. Still no cordyceps at any of the groves. This cannot continue very much longer. Yeah, sun and moon still teleport, they'll never listen when there needs to be fully dynamic day and night cycle and HDR. Press and holding a button to equip an entire gear set would be very useful so we don't have to equip one piece at a time, it's a little bit time consuming. Jai's daily bounties are only 75 RP and 300 RP for weekly bounties, they seriously need to raise these

i just started a new game after seeing all the new updates. Started out pretty cool until I go to do a GRE anomaly only to be greeted by 2 fucking volatiles in the middle of the fight. This repeatedly happens despite not even aggroing volatiles prior to starting the anomaly.. not fun

I don’t know what’s with this game… I tried to play it multiple times, but I just forget about it after first 3-5 hours every time… I remember playing the first one and death island and I couldn’t stop playing those two, especially death island, but this one is just not it for me( maybe because I became older? 🤔

I'll never be a fan of the animations during combat. The virals leaping at you sucks. The stumble aiden does when a tyran lt hits him is annoying. Sometimes i have to wait for animations to fishing to continue fighting or "parkouring". Zombie grabs still suck too.

Am i the only one who hates the running exploseive zombies. They almost always explode and they chase you down. Then they cause more running virals show up and its honestly so annoying.

techland said the reason there is no dynamic sun and moon is because of the games lighting tech works so basically they can do it it’s just a waste of resources in their eyes having to work around their lighting engine rn or remaking it entirely it’s still silly seeing people complaining over a static sun and moon when you have to stare at the sky for 5 mins to even see the sky switch.😭

Dying light 2 has to be one of the most disappointing games I have ever played, not that its a bad game either, the main gameplay is mostly an improvement over the original, but the story sucks shit. It's almost comical to me how it seems to actively go against and betray the ideas that make dying light good in the first place. The fact that the flashlight sucks in a game where one of the main draws is scary, intense nightime chase sequences is genuinely pathetic. I can't even think of content that they've added to the game after launch that I have enjoyed (or at least made me want to play it again).

Put a bit of flashlight inertia on fair enough. It was in the first game. It would make it better, but the flashlight's too bright goes too far. Absolutely not. Now you're just ruining it for other people because you don't like something. You know there's thousands of different types of torches. So maybe a system of different variants, strengths and distances beam types would be better

I honestly disagree with jai being "grindy". If you wanted the gold guns day 1, yes no shit it would feel grindy, it's pretty clear techland wanted the progression to feel gradual. I played on and off (due to exams), and got to level 5 pretty easily by just doing a variety of missions and capitalizing on the extra RP from weekly/daily (cant remember) rewards. Im calling BS on "3 weeks". Edit: Im realising the error of what Im saying considering the extra RP is tied to weekly rewards, but the way you said it made it sound like you had to consistently grind for 3 weeks, which simply isn't the case. Great video tho

every time this game seems to get better it always has more glaring issues that are exposed by the updates and changes, it's a shame really, because i want to buy it and play it but the COOP is horrible and that's the only reason i would buy it, i could look past these things but nooo, they can't make good coop.
