I don't think he need alot of changes as he was a very bad character in Tekken 7 he didn't have any grounded move only down 2 and while crouching 4 or 3 he struggled with alot of matchup as he's a very straight forward character (I've been playing drag since T6). I like The more strings routes he gets, still has fake pressure/not needing to worry about the strings hes doing. But to all this is not as good as dj, azu, fang, Raven, vic, etc plus we don't know how good the dlc characters are going to be, then it will be t7 all over again, and that will suck as drag has been at bottom mid for hes life span only been good at t7 then being nerfed to the grounded as seen season 1 to 4 while being forgotten about that other character got so much better then him. I don't want that to happen
It does make sense in a way because your not actually finishing the fight but on the other end it is them forfeitting the fight so even if you earn nothing they should lose points for forfetting or they should not only lose but you should earn points but I can could also see that being a problem because then people would be earning points they haven't earned to a rank they haven't earned because not everyone forfeited because they rage quit. So I think it would be good to just keep it at them losing points because they gave up instead of finishing a fight they would have lost anyways and plus as I said for those who aren't leaving for the same reason wouldn't be or shouldn't be dealing with the problem because they aren't always gonna leave a match early. That's my take on the whole disconnecting situation. They should fix it by taking away points from the people who do it so they would have to learn the game properly and so if they want to stay on the game actually help them develop a tolerance for losing.

Tekken 8 its not a good Tekken Game,, Its way to Gimmicky,, less is more,, i miss the simpler days,, when there was no rage arts,, no armor moves,, no supers, no heat... CHEAP DAMAGE On a 3D Fighting Game 🙃 is ridiculous.. Tekken 5 was the Perfect Tekken Game,,. everything that came after got worse and worse .. Tekken 6 was still good. but starting with tekken 7 they went in the wrong direction,, sure the game now is selling really good but at the cost of dumping down the gameplay for people that don't know how to play fighting games ..Moving around on Tekken 5 felt like butter,, game used to be so loose ,, you could play offence and defense,,, in tekken 8 is all about offence,, and if you don't play like that,, you will lose.. you can't express your individual style in Tekken 8 cause the game forces you to play one way only

6:32 I think you're not getting the whole picture on why people are upset on this, sure everything they make takes time and money but: A- Too many Online Games today (2016-now) and more coming soon are relying on microtransactions/live service to get by and/or updates which is burning out gamers, who cares if its optional at this point its been happening in gaming for years and people have better use of their money especially in this economy state. People just want to just play online with friends and make friends online and level up regularly and feel rewarded to play more, not play video games as a 9 to 5 job that they have to also pay as an option to get the rewards i.e. Mobile games. B- Companies release their games with editions/some DLC and/or season pass at the start to sucker gamers like me and others in with their impressive graphics and gameplay like COD MW2019 and then release the microtransactions later which is kinda suspect of Devs to do that. As it makes the base game less valuable and makes gamers wonder why they bothered to pay 70 to 100+ for the game when they spent it to support the devs and now the devs expect customers to pay more? C- The rewards you get in the battle passes and shops are usually disappointing and a waste of money especially if the game is moddable there's no reason to buy the Battle pass. (side note this would explain why bandai namco is banning mods in the game) D- From the many live service games I've played and seen the games do not get any better and in some cases the games get worse! Look at Madden or any EA sports games they haven't gotten any better in terms of EVERYTHING!!! But yet brainless bots buy it cause it's their favorite sport since they were a kid or they are a content creator and live off of playing sports games. E- Game companies rely on this cause publishers are too stingy to give devs good amount money for projects even popular franchises. Only Nintendo understood about their employees and their developers wants and needs which is why despite their bad decisions on some things they have been successful for nearly 40 years you can't say that with Bandai Namco who makes cheap Anime games that have so much wasted potential and cut their budgets on fighting games which is why i assume Harada had to do the shop and battle pass to keep updating the game which is understandable but all the purchases from the DLCs, Shops, and Battle passes goes to the Publisher CEO and the devs get a small portion of the money to no money at all to the point they get laid off which is why many gaming studios almost every year layoff Hundreds of employees on the year their CEO gets 100+ million dollar paycheck and boasts about what a great year they had. Even many developers said it out loud about it even Harada himself which is why people have an issue with it especially when Executives layoff hundreds of employees after they get a big fat check every quarter year.
Honestly? I hate how the game is and how the series has been going like man it's not just how easy it's getting it's the lack of effort being put into the product and sure many a TEKKEN fan boy will come to it's aid and say how wrong I really am but really? I’m definitely annoyed by the way the whole report system is working. It’s like you said, they can put the game down for hours to put a shop in but just getting that internal ban going is somehow too much. Solid points throughout the video and I’m glad to hear your perspective on this. I saw your video and others on DOA6 and that’s a real tragedy. Suddenly losing your main fighting game is something I think no one wants to go through and despite all the issues, Tekken Team has the chance to keep communication high and fix issues as quickly as possible. For me the online connectivity is too inconsistent but I love the game regardless, until that part gets a bit smoother imma just keep a distance for now, or maybe some mf was screenshot lagging me who knows😂. Yeah, the plugging is bad, so far found someone with a lag switch, and had a few people rage quit, and I ended up losing my win streak. I'm not buying the battle pass, but the issue is, if in Tekken 6 or 7 we paid the same amount of money and got more customization items than now, it feels like they're purposely short changing customers to entice people to pay more, it's not a deal breaker, but this is the road to eventually have to pay for everything. The corporate money guys introduce something, notice fans don't complain or continue to pay money, then continue on that path.

I don't understand how people can complain about spending money on a game that is getting continuous updates. They don't realize games like Tekken 6 we only got the final version and mind you we had to wait a long while to get that. But that game didn't cost extra as it didn't have updates or patches done to it.

Hey Emery, great video and I really appreciate you calling out scumbags like Olrek. I would like to talk to you a bit about the fight pass stuff. Yes you can choose not to buy the fight pass, but you need to keep in mind how scummy and greedy Bamco are being here. They literally kneecapped the in game customization options in order to sell you the good shit later with in game premium currency and a fight pass. Look at the legacy outfits they put in the Tekken Store a month after the game comes out. those costumes were already made but instead of putting it in the base game, they went greedy and make you pay for them. Remember this is a $70 game, if this was F2P it would be less of an issue but this is ridiculous. And they are going to include legacy Tekken 7 accessory items in the fight pass which is beyond the pale. The games industry sucks bro.
I ask this because I'm genuinely curious, but when you ask for nerfs for Dragunov, what exactly are you asking for? The moves you've highlighted were db3+4, b1+2, wr2, and his heat smash. They've said in the notes they would adjust the heat smash, so putting that move aside, b1+2 and wr+2 have functioned the exact same as they have in T7. You've played Drag in T7, so you know this as well. Drag's weakness has always been his lows and his mid hitbox, which has been alleviated with qcf+4 and db3+4 both granting insane plus frames on hit, and qcf+4 being a (mid, otg, +7 on block, KD, heat engager). That's my gripes with those moves and, even though I use them, I make the character less boring to play by limiting my use with him to explore other methods of using the character. His new fc! df1,4 is strong, but it instantly registers him as standing so it doesn't high crush, so he get can blown up with highs or throws.
If I wanted to readjust those two moves... db3+4: reduce the damage by a bit, and reduce the plus frames on hit to 4, but in exchange, force crouch on hit. qcf+4: Either reduce the plus frames on block to between 0 to +3. It already has too much.
The problem now is that in this game throws are homing and he has a strong throw game so his weakness to SS is less prevalent, if any of those moves are blocked you cant interrupt the throw attempt and he has strong oki with sneak 4 and his hatchet kick both hitting grounded. Not only that, the heat system in general favors him giving him more means to get in and spam his plus frames. Heat burst is also basically a homing move so again sidestep is less of an issue. Also this is more of a general issue with the game but some of the stages are so small it leaves little room for movement. If you block a couple wr2s your back is against the wall pretty much then youre pretty much dead lol
